Episode 30 recap: Wu Geng was poisoned and fainted.
Against the Heavens informed Wu Geng that the power of the Earth Realm Protoss from the White Lotus Holy King was the most formidable poison in the Three Realms. Once it struck, it would be difficult for any Protoss to save themselves. However, Wu Geng had already been struck by the opponent's attack, and soon after, the poison took effect, causing him to faint. Chief Kong Que stated that unless they had the ancient power of the Protoss, there was no way to cure this poison. Shi Xing informed Bai Cai that she possessed the ancient power of the Protoss, but if she wanted to be with Wu Geng, she should refrain from using it again.
Shi Xing initially wanted to pursue the Protoss realm and kill Xin Yue Kui, but Wu Geng persuaded him that rash actions would lead to chaos in their grand plan. The attack on the Protoss realm had already been planned, and although they had underestimated the power of the Protoss realm, they couldn't act recklessly. As the King of the Mu Nation, Zhou Qiao planned to hold a banquet to celebrate the victory over the six divisions of the Protoss realm. However, Wu Geng believed that the power of the six divisions in the Protoss realm was insignificant, and their achievements were not worth mentioning.
The Demon Clan, the Hidden Clan of the Protoss, and the Human Clan all expressed their willingness to cooperate and accompany Wu Geng in his fight against the Protoss King. Wu Geng promised not to let everyone down. Upon seeing the appearance of the Profound Wind Holy King and the White Lotus Holy King, Zi Yu felt a new pressure on Wu Geng. Zi Yu believed that in this battle, they had dealt a heavy blow to the six divisions of the Protoss realm, and he saw Wu Geng's strategy and strength. Wu Geng made everyone feel the power of belief and hope. Zi Yu asked Wu Geng how he managed to make Xin Yue Kui willingly participate in the plan. Wu Geng told Zi Yu that he had used the power of the colorless realm Protoss to block Xin Yue Kui's prying eyes, and took the opportunity to reveal to Bai Cai that he was both Ah Gou and Wu Geng. Bai Cai chose to trust Wu Geng and agreed to keep this matter a secret. Zi Yu was relieved to see the mutual trust between Wu Geng and Bai Cai and had complete confidence in both of them. In order to fight against the Protoss, An Jiang Jun trained his soldiers in preparation for future battles. Wu Geng told the soldiers that although they were not a match for the Protoss on their own, with diligent training, they would eventually be able to fight against the Protoss.
After this battle, Wu Geng believed that the Protoss realm would certainly be on guard, so he and Against the Heavens discussed the idea of quietly infiltrating the Protoss realm. Wu Geng wanted to enter the Protoss realm by using a ship to transport bloodstones, and in order to conceal their anti-Protoss army, they discussed the creation of a transport ship.
Against the Heavens had long discovered that Wu Geng had been poisoned by the power of the Earth Realm Protoss from the White Lotus Holy King. He advised Wu Geng that his life was at stake and he must not take it lightly. Bai Cai learned that Shi Xing was about to leave and specially made buns to give to him.
Shi Xing was moved by Wu Geng's defeat of the Protoss realm and believed that given time, he would be able to fight against the Protoss King.
Wu Geng and Bai Cai bid farewell to Zi Yu. Wu Geng felt reluctant to part with Uncle Zi Yu, but Zi Yu assured him that he would always remember their promise. No matter the distance, he would come promptly if Wu Geng needed him.
After bidding farewell to Zi Yu and Shi Xing, Wu Geng was overcome by the poison and fainted. Bai Cai hurriedly brought him before Chief Kong Que, but Kong Que acknowledged that the poison from the White Lotus Holy King was considered the most powerful in the Three Realms. She, too, was powerless and only the ancient power of the Protoss could cure it.
Bai Cai used her own ancient Protoss power to detoxify Wu Geng throughout the night. Chief Kong Que confirmed that this method indeed alleviated Wu Geng's condition. Bai Cai privately asked A Lan about a prophecy mentioned by Fu Xi in the past. She wondered if Fu Xi's intention to kill her was related to that prophecy.
Bai Cai anticipated that her presence would disrupt their grand plan, which was why Fu Xi and A Lan had no choice but to consider eliminating her. In response to Bai Cai's inquiry, A Lan revealed a part of Fu Xi's prophecy, stating that someone close to Wu Geng would push him off a cliff in the future.
Bai Cai pleaded with A Lan that if she ever harmed Wu Geng, she hoped A Lan would kill her. A Lan felt guilty for once harboring ill intentions toward Bai Cai and hesitated to agree to her request. However, A Lan promised Bai Cai that she would use all her power to protect Wu Geng.
Bai Cai recalled something Shi Xing had told her before leaving. It turned out that Shi Xing had intended to use Bai Cai's power to lift the seal. Shi Xing mentioned that before Wu Geng could utilize Protoss power, he needed a divine revelation, and Bai Cai's ability to use ancient Protoss power indicated that she already possessed Protoss power within her. Shi Xing advised Bai Cai that if she wanted to be with Wu Geng, she should refrain from using Protoss power again.
After Bai Cai's three days of treatment using ancient Protoss power, Wu Geng's poison was successfully cured. Bai Cai believed that every day spent with Wu Geng was blissful and that regardless of the passage of time, he would always be the person she loved most. Chief Kong Que couldn't comprehend why Bai Cai's use of Protoss power for three days didn't weaken her but instead made her even stronger. However, Bai Cai simply explained it as her inherent talent.
Once the poison was cured, Wu Geng regained consciousness, but his Protoss power suddenly disappeared. Chief Kong Que explained that the blood lotus toxin had spread through his meridians, suppressing his Protoss power. Perhaps in a few days, his Protoss power would recover. For now, Wu Geng could only take it one step at a time.
