Episode 5 recap: Li Tian Shun saved Da Dao Wang Wu.

Da Dao Wang Wu told Li Tian Shun that if he liked martial arts, he could come to his martial arts school anytime and there was no need to become his disciple. Impressed by Wang Wu's loyalty and righteousness, Li Tian Shun admired him greatly. When he learned that Wang Wu wanted to go to prison to see Tan Sitong, he decided to accompany him.

Although Tan Sitong told them that he was willing to shed blood for the reform, Wang Wu still decided to rescue him. Wang Wu took his disciples to storm the prison but was discovered by patrolling soldiers, and a fight broke out. Wang Wu was outnumbered and had to retreat while fighting. Thanks to Li Tian Shun's preparation of a carriage in advance, they managed to escape.

After sending Wang Wu and the others away, Li Tian Shun noticed blood on his body, so he climbed over the wall and went to Aunt Ding's house. Huang He Xiang found clean clothes for Li Tian Shun and advised him to quickly return home under the cover of darkness. When she opened the door to let Li Tian Shun out, Yang Shang De happened to see them.

Huang He Xiang prepared breakfast, but Yang Shang De angrily said that he couldn't eat the food and regretted marrying Huang He Xiang. Aunt Ding asked him what was going on, so Yang Shang De explained what he had seen yesterday. Aunt Ding was worried about Yang Shang De's misunderstanding, so she showed him Li Tian Shun's clothes.

Upon learning that someone was planning to storm the prison and rescue Tan Sitong, the Lord Buddha believed that Tan Sitong was deliberately misleading people and ordered the Nine Gates Commander to capture the prison raiders. He also decided to execute the Six Gentlemen on a chosen day. The Vice Commander and his men arrived at Wang Wu's escort agency but found it empty. After leaving Wang Wu's agency, Wang Tong Ren, seeking revenge against Li Tian Shun, suggested to the Vice Commander that they go to Li Tian Shun's house.

The Vice Commander and his men went to Li Tian Shun's house and accused Wang Tong Ren of reporting that Li Tian Shun was harboring the wanted criminal, Da Dao Wang Wu. Li Tian Shun questioned Wang Tong Ren about the accusation, and Wang Tong Ren suggested that Li Tian Shun pay him off to avoid trouble by offering some treasures from the palace to the Commander. However, Li Tian Shun said that he had no trouble to avoid and allowed the Vice Commander to search freely. If nothing was found, he didn't want the soldiers to have made the trip for nothing. As he said this, he suddenly grabbed Wang Tong Ren's hand and proposed to use his jade ring as a wager.

The Vice Commander thought Li Tian Shun's idea was good and led his men to search Li Tian Shun's house. They found nothing, so they forced Wang Tong Ren to hand over the jade ring. Wu Xiu Zhen helped Li Tian Shun wash his clothes and discovered the letter "丁" written on them. She suspected that Li Tian Shun had gone to Aunt Ding's house to meet Huang He Xiang, so they began to argue.

To find out the truth, Li Yun Mian approached Aunt Ding and asked what was going on. Aunt Ding quietly told him the truth. While Wu Xiu Zhen waited outside for news, although Li Yun Mian assured her that everything was fine, she couldn't let go of her doubts. She and her mother went to confront Huang He Xiang, but Yang Shang De stood by Huang He Xiang and held her hand in front of everyone, asking them not to falsely accuse Huang He Xiang.

Seeing Yang Shang De, who was shameless, everyone didn't pay much attention to the matter. Wu Xiu Zhen realized that she had misunderstood Li Tian Shun. On the day of the execution of the Six Gentlemen, Wang Wu led his men to storm the execution ground again but ultimately failed. When the Lord Buddha learned of this, he scolded the Sixth Prince and ordered him to capture Wang Wu.

Wang Wu went to collect Tan Sitong's body using a cart, but fell into an ambush set by the authorities. While he was injured and trying to escape, he coincidentally ran into Li Tian Shun. Li Tian Shun initially wanted to carry Wang Wu back to his own house, but when they passed by Old Ding's house, Huang He Xiang saw them. Huang He Xiang asked Li Tian Shun to bring Wang Wu to her house instead.

The Vice Commander and his men caught up and found blood on the ground. They asked Li Tian Shun what had happened, but Li Tian Shun didn't know how to answer. Just then, Huang He Xiang, with a bleeding nose, came out of the house and helped Li Tian Shun cover up the situation.

After the soldiers left, Li Tian Shun carried Wang Wu back to his own house. When Wang Wu woke up, he was worried about bringing trouble to the Li family, but Li Tian Shun and Li Yun Mian wouldn't let him leave. Li Tian Shun deliberately praised Wang Wu in front of his father, saying that he had risked his life to help collect Tan Sitong's body and that he was a person of loyalty and righteousness.
