Episode 1 recap: Lin Xian wants to break off the engagement.
Lin Xian sent his assistant to talk to Zhuang Xiaoman about calling off the engagement, but Zhuang Xiaoman had no idea about the engagement. When she learned that her fiancé was not only handsome and wealthy but also had an eight-pack abs, and he even wanted to pay her a sky-high divorce fee, she immediately thought it was a scam and chased the assistant away with a laundry pole. Lin Xian became impatient with the assistant's unsuccessful attempts and decided to go to Zhuang Xiaoman himself. Coincidentally, on that day, under the pressure from her mother and the enthusiasm of her aunts, Zhuang Xiaoman was about to go on a blind date with Wang Mazi, mistakenly mistaking Lin Xian for her blind date.
Lin Xian managed to get some alone time with Zhuang Xiaoman and deliberately mentioned that after they got married, she would have to bear many children and report everything to him, and she couldn't inquire about his whereabouts.
