Episode 6 recap: Jingwen deliberately approached Lin Xian.
Lin Xian stayed with Zhuang Xiaoman overnight, which deeply moved Zhuang Xiaoman. She started to see Lin Xian's good qualities. Lin Xian prepared medicine for Zhuang Xiaoman and even added sugar to it, which touched Zhuang Xiaoman even more. Her gaze toward Lin Xian softened. With one person injured and the other sick, Lin Xian took the initiative to help with the work in the field. However, he had never done farm work before and swung the hoe for a while, but made little progress. Haozi happened to pass by and saw Lin Xian working and instinctively felt that he was unreliable. He approached and guided Lin Xian on the correct posture. After learning that Zhuang Xiaoman was sick, he left Lin Xian and hurried to Zhuang's house. While pouring water for Zhuang Xiaoman, he discovered an air purifier in Lin Xian's room, which made his heart sink.
In order to gain a sense of presence, Jingwen took the initiative to help Lin Xian in the field. She found an opportunity to say that she was afraid of insects. However, he had feelings for Jingwen, so he stopped her and asked about the air purifier. Jingwen made up an excuse, saying that she gave it to Zhuang Xiaoman. Unexpectedly, Zhuang Xiaoman, in her infatuated state, gave it to Lin Xian as a gift.
Haozi's mood immediately improved, and he advised Jingwen to be careful about the impact of their actions. After all, Lin Xian was Zhuang Xiaoman's fiancé. If their close relationship was seen by the villagers, it wouldn't be good for Jingwen's reputation.
