Episode 4 recap: Ye Ran was scared unconscious.
Su Chi talked to Ye Ran about his comic and felt that it lacked an antagonist. He thought it made sense, so he drew Meng Zhao as the antagonist in his comic. Meng Zhao managed to let Ye Ran leave early without working overtime, and when he discovered that the comic had been updated, he was very happy. But then he realized that he had become the antagonist in the comic, which made him very frustrated.
Meng Zhao was very unhappy and felt that he should have a straightforward talk with Ye Ran to quickly change the storyline back. Ye Ran wanted Chen Secretary's WeChat, but then he noticed that Meng Zhao was there and quickly hid. Meng Zhao was frustrated to find that Ye Ran had disappeared suddenly.
Ye Ran was originally going to leave, feeling that Meng Zhao was being persistent and preventing him from finding Chen Secretary. But then he saw Meng Zhao approaching. Ye Ran said he had a headache and needed to go back quickly, but Meng Zhao said that a headache was not a small matter and offered to take him back. Ye Ran didn't want to go, but since Chen Secretary was also there, he had no choice but to go with them.
Meng Zhao was very concerned about Ye Ran and wanted to know if he was feeling better and if he could continue updating the comic. However, when Meng Zhao got too close, Ye Ran fainted directly.
