Episode 9 recap: Case Resurfaces: Dancer Murdered.

Jiang Yuening and Yu Ba went to the deck to inquire about any abnormalities with the crew. That's when they discovered that Luo Junjun had already been seen on the deck. Jiang Yuening realized that Luo Junjun was in danger and urgently went to find her. She unintentionally noticed traces of ink spilled on the ground, which reminded her of the ink spilled when Song Bo fought with Sun Ruichen using a fountain pen.

Following the clue of the ink, Jiang Yuening discovered slight traces outside the casino, suspecting that Luo Junjun might be inside. However, the crew didn't believe her. Unable to open the casino's door, Jiang Yuening had no choice but to announce that Luo Junjun was inside, attracting the attention of the crew and eventually kicking open the door. After the door was kicked open, Jiang Yuening and the crew discovered Luo Junjun dead on top of the money. Since Jiang Yuening led them to open the door, the crew suspected her to be the culprit and took her to see Pan Yong.

Knowing Pan Yong's secret, Jiang Yuening intended to negotiate with him using this information. However, once Jiang Yuening was brought to Pan Yong's office, he dismissed everyone else and prepared to silence her. Jiang Yuening knew that Pan Yong wanted to use her life to conceal the secrets on the ship, so she honestly questioned him, hoping to force him to take action against her. Pan Yong remarked that killing Jiang Yuening now would complicate matters and require him to come up with a fabricated story.

Pan Yong believed that by framing Jiang Yuening as the murderer who killed her husband and out of jealousy, killed Luo Junjun, he could confidently turn the case into an open-and-shut one, ensuring that Jiang Yuening would never have the chance to clear her name.
