Episode 16 recap: Misunderstanding: Wang Fu Lei is mistakenly believed to be Feng Qi Wu.
Wang Fu Lei requested Ma Lao Guang to take the opportunity during his leave to bid farewell to Wang Cui Yun and then turn himself in to Wang Dong. Wang Fu Lei promised to do his best to help Ma Lao Guang reduce his guilt if he followed through. Ma Lao Guang readily agreed. On the other hand, Lu Shang Long Wang discovered the manipulations done by Wang Fu Lei and Wang Fu Lei made no effort to conceal it. Lu Shang Long Wang straightforwardly stated that if such behavior continued, he would cancel Wang Dong's eligibility to compete for the position of the sect leader.
Yan Qi came to find Ma Lao Guang with the key to Ma Ji Restaurant. Ma Lao Guang, in a fit of anger, asked Yan Qi to arrest him. Unexpectedly, Yan Qi suddenly changed his tune, saying that this would be putting Ma Lao Guang in a life-threatening situation. He then revealed his new plan, which was to divorce his wife. After putting Zhang Cui Yun down, Ma Lao Guang told her that he was indeed Feng Qi Wu, but she didn't believe him. While they were arguing, Wang Fu Lei appeared and knocked both of them unconscious. Then Wang Fu Lei went back and changed into Feng Qi Wu's clothes but was mistaken by Wang Dong as Feng Qi Wu. Wang Fu Lei couldn't take off his mask and could only lead Wang Dong towards Ma Lao Guang. Wang Fu Lei openly declared that Ma Lao Guang was Feng Qi Wu, but Wang Dong didn't believe it, and Ma Lao Guang denied it. Yan Qi also caught up from behind, and the situation became chaotic. Wang Fu Lei took the opportunity to escape, leaving everyone in a state of confusion.
Wang Fu Lei didn't run far before encountering Lu Shang Long Wang and Nan Gong Chou. The two of them wanted to give the kid a big gift and easily defeated Wang Fu Lei with a single strike.
