Episode 18 recap: Lao Wang and Xiao Wang went undercover in the drug lord's hideout.
After disguising themselves, Lao Wang and Xiao Wang successfully infiltrated the drug lord's hideout. Besides changing their appearance, they also purposely learned the drug dealers' manner of speaking and tone. When faced with scrutiny from the drug dealers, they remained calm and acted as if they were rebellious and uncooperative, using foul language and behaving in a way that didn't raise suspicion. Both of them passed the inspection smoothly, without alerting the others to their true intentions.
Subsequently, under the guidance of a person dressed in black, they proceeded further inside. While walking, they observed their surroundings and communicated through eye contact. Finally, they reached the innermost area, where they could hear someone humming. The person was lying on a massage bed, enjoying a massage from a staff member while waiting for Lao Wang and Xiao Wang to arrive. There was also someone nearby dealing with a recently disposed of corpse.
Once Lao Wang and Xiao Wang entered, the person stood up and warmly welcomed them with a smile. Their disguises were effective, and the person didn't notice any flaws. Without wasting time, Lao Wang directly asked if the person was Lao Qiang. After receiving a negative response, they pretended to leave. However, the person quickly insisted they stay, claiming that Lao Qiang would return soon.
