Episode 2 recap: Jiang Yu's Choice.
Jiang Yu suppressed his anger and looked at the woman in front of him, who was tapping her chin with her fingers while talking about something he only partially understood. However, this person in front of him had successfully provoked him. Xu Weiwei, with an indifferent expression, kissed Jiang Yu. The sound of a bell woke Xu Weiwei up. Chu Cheng (played by Fang Xiaodong) asked Xu Weiwei what the meaning of the second episode was. Xu Weiwei proudly said that the protagonist had snatched the male lead away and she fought back with all her might to regain Jiang Yu.
Chu Cheng was curious about how Xu Weiwei knew everything, even taking away his on-screen first kiss. Dai Yao was angry that Xu Weiwei had stolen all her scenes. She had worked hard for four months, endured many late nights, but in the end, she was just making wedding clothes for Xu Weiwei. Now, she had no popularity online at all. Mr. Sun, the producer, declared that anyone who blocked Dai Yao's path would be blacklisted.
Xu Weiwei told Chu Cheng that she had traveled through time, and Chu Cheng believed her. Xu Weiwei received a call from Dai Yao, informing her that Dai Yao planned to suppress her. Xu Weiwei decided to try to travel through time again so that Dai Yao wouldn't succeed. Chu Cheng analyzed the plot for Xu Weiwei and advised her to seize the spotlight of the protagonist in order to survive. Xu Weiwei couldn't sleep no matter what, and Chu Cheng also tried various methods to help her.
Finally, Xu Weiwei succeeded and skillfully shifted the spotlight to herself. She also successfully dealt with the mementos of Wen Zixuan, her sister, and believed that she could dominate this storyline from now on. Wen Zixuan couldn't accept the fact that she had jumped into the well.
