Episode 8 recap: Jiang Yu fell in love with Xu Weiwei.
Jiang Yu felt that Xu Weiwei was really going too far, constantly provoking him. He grabbed Xu Weiwei by the neck and pulled her along. Xu Weiwei quickly claimed that she was a favored person by Imperial Consort Lan, and questioned how Jiang Yu could treat her like this. She also mentioned that the Empress was currently pregnant with the dragon's child and in great danger, and she needed Jiang Yu's help. Jiang Yu thought about killing Xu Weiwei and then seeking forgiveness from the Empress, so that there would be no more problems.
