Episode 10 recap: Mo Li wants to commit suicide.
Xia Hua excitedly sets the dinner table, as her cooperation with Yu De Kai is crucial to her. She is overjoyed when she learns that Yu De Kai has reimbursed her expenses. However, while handling the paperwork, she unexpectedly encounters Mo Li. Mo Li rudely questions Xia Hua's presence, and Xia Hua fearlessly responds that it was Yu De Kai who asked her to come.
Mo Li suspects Xia Hua is a thief and demands the front desk to search her pockets, creating an awkward atmosphere. Ma Zhuo timely appears to defend Xia Hua, but Mo Li still insists that the two are colluding.
Xia Hua is outraged by Mo Li's insults and cannot help but refute her suspicious nature, blaming her husband's lack of supervision.
Seeing this, Ma Zhuo quickly leads Xia Hua away. Mo Li, however, does not give up and goes directly to the place where Yu De Kai is holding a meeting, demanding an explanation from him. Xia Hua recalls her past with Chen Guo Guo, feeling grateful that she helped her open a hot pot restaurant and introduced her to Yu De Kai and other connections.
At the gathering, Mo Li and Shao mother mockingly criticize Chen Guo Guo, making Xia Hua feel uncomfortable. Xia Hua is accused of being a thief due to a misunderstanding, but is protected by Chen Guo Guo.
Ma Zhuo curiously asks Xia Hua about her mother's and Yu De Kai's relationship, and Xia Hua believes they have a favor relationship, but not a romantic one.
Ma Zhuo recalls having seen her mother discussing her matter with Yu De Kai and learning that Yu De Kai had given her mother a sum of money. This past event deeply touches Xia Hua and further strengthens her determination to cooperate with Yu De Kai.
Both Ma Zhuo's and Yu De Kai's families are shrouded in gloom.
Mo Li's crazy suspicions have created a tense atmosphere at home, leaving Yu An Duo and Ma Zhuo feeling exhausted. Ma Zhuo sincerely hopes that Mo Li can live well, while Yu An Duo feels that her mother is being burdened by her marriage. Mo Li constantly focuses on Yu De Kai, even feeling anxious about it.
She decides to divorce, believing that if she is not around, Chen Guo Guo will quickly get together with Yu De Kai. However, Yu De Kai refuses, swearing to take care of her. Mo Li's illness is not publicly known, which benefits Heart Sea. Ma Zhuo cares about Mo Li, but this triggers an emotional breakdown in Mo Li.
Mo Li apologizes to Yu An Duo, who feels estranged and seeks companionship from Ma Zhuo. After comforting Yu An Duo and sending her home, Ma Zhuo discovers that Mo Li has attempted suicide in the pool, shocking Yu An Duo.
