Episode 19 recap: Yang Cai Wei sensed Pan Yue's intentions.
Yang Cai Wei went to the prison alone to visit Shen Ci. Shen Ci could recognize people by their footsteps and heartbeat. He calmly responded to Yang Cai Wei's inquiries. Yang Cai Wei believed that Shen Ci was different from the students of Xinzheng and that he was definitely not the real Shen Ci.

However, Yang Cai Wei was also feeling upset. Pan Yue had now fallen in love with Shang Guan Zhi, not to mention that he was already the son-in-law of the county lord. Seeing Yang Cai Wei's indifferent attitude, Pan Yue deliberately handed her a letter from the county lord, revealing that his engagement with the county lord was actually fake.
