Episode 24 recap: Yang Cai Wei and Pan Yue disguised themselves as a couple to investigate the case.
The master told them about the resurrection case of Tian Shi, where several victims had died in different ways. The master conducted a thorough investigation, but there was no mention of it in the case files. In the secret room, Pan Yue saw a woman who referred to Xue Jianli as the master and wished for death. She was Lu Ai Ge, and she hadn't actually died. Pan Yue hid in a corner and witnessed Lu Ai Ge biting Xue Jianli fiercely. Then Xue Jianli fed her a pill, and Lu Ai Ge became obedient like a puppet.
Suddenly, there was a voice outside saying that there was a water leak. Xue Jianli went out to check, and Pan Yue took the opportunity to escape with Lu Ai Ge.
