The Legend of Shen Li

Plot Synopsis

"The Legend of Shen Li" is adapted from the novel "I Am Here" by Jiu Lu Fei Xiang on Jinjiang Literature City. It tells the story of Shen Li, the Azure King of the Spirit Realm (played by Zhao Liying), who falls to the mortal world and gets injured while escaping from an arranged marriage. Through a fortuitous encounter, she meets Xing Zhi, the last ancient god (played by Lin Gengxin), who is experiencing life as a mortal. Together, they traverse the three realms and embark on apowerful and magnificent mythological love story.

Shen Li, the Azure King of the Spirit Realm (played by Zhao Liying), unexpectedly encounters Xing Zhi, a god traveling in the mortal realm (played by Lin Gengxin), during her escape from marriage. As they fight evil and seek the truth together, they developa mutual affection. Xing Zhi, the last ancient god, bears the responsibility of guarding the realm beyond realms to maintainpeace and order in the world. Both burdened with great responsibilities, they face difficult choices between love and duty. Shen Li bravely fights against the forces of evil toprotect herpeople, even sacrificing herself in the Battle of Donghai for the greater good. Xing Zhi learns the meaning of responsibility through Shen Li and bravely shoulders his own mission, sacrificing his own desires to safeguardpeace in the world. Both characters rediscover the true essence of love, responsibility, and life throughout this journey.
