Shen Tu Nan lost a lot of blood and fell into a coma. Shen Jin Zhen voluntarily donated blood for Shen Tu Nan. Lin Qiao Song conducted an investigation at the scene and suspected that Shen Tu Nan had shot himself. Shen Jin Zhen explained revolutionary principles to Wei Ruo Lai, who was then brainwashed.

When Zhang Ming Quan heard that the killer had been captured, he was worried about being implicated and immediately went to seek help from Yu Shi Qing. Yu Shi Qing knew that the assassination of Shen Tu Nan would anger the Nanjing government and tried his best to distance himself from Zhang Ming Quan, telling him to fend for himself. Shen Jin Zhen brought in a violinist to entertain them after the meal. She and Wei Ruo Lai toasted and chatted, finding more and more common ground. Li Cheng Da was shot in the right ventricle, a rare occurrence, and miraculously survived. However, he fell into a severe coma due to excessive blood loss. Lin Qiao Song tortured the killer to extract information about the mastermind behind the scenes. Kang Shao Jie called Lin Qiao Song outside and had someone silence the killer, pushing all the blame onto Lin Qiao Song. Kang Shao Jie insisted that the killer committed suicide out of fear. Shen Jin Zhen overheard from Wei Ruo Lai that Shen Tu Nan planned to acquire Xingxia Bank. She immediately reported it to Xu Nuo, and the organization was also preparing to take action against Xingxia Bank. Xu Nuo assigned Shen Jin Zhen to closely monitor Shen Tu Nan's every move.
