Episode 4 recap: Song Yao took Ji Chengchuan back to their hometown.
Ji Chengchuan felt that he needed to make some changes to impress Song Yao, while Song Yao believed that he needed to be patient and gradually gain Ji Chengchuan's trust. To prevent Ji Chengchuan from seeing certain information, Song Yao quickly messaged Gu Zi Jun. However, Gu Zi Jun was busy playing games and didn't have time to check Song Yao's message. With Song Yao's urgent texts, Gu Zi Jun finally saw the WeChat message and hurriedly tidied up when he learned that Ji Chengchuan was coming to their house.
At the door, Song Yao was worried that Gu Zi Jun hadn't seen the message and wasn't packing up. Song Yao made excuses to prevent Ji Chengchuan from entering.
