Episode 10 recap: Zhao Ling Er joins the Jade Buddha Temple.
Under the leadership of the Corpse Demon King, they rampage through Baihe Fort. The third senior member of the group sacrifices their life to protect Han Mengci from the sword. Li Xiaoyao and Zhao Ling Er join forces to attack the Corpse Demon King, and Zhao Ling Er quickly subdues him. As the Corpse Demon King's energy is about to be depleted, Han Yixian suddenly appears and takes the Corpse Demon King away. Everyone is stunned, especially Han Mengci, who doesn't understand her father's intentions.
A Nu wakes up from the tomb, and Tang Yu is still conscious but heavily injured from saving A Nu. Han Mengci sends out many disciples to find Han Yixian but they come back empty-handed after a busy search. Li Xiaoyao suggests that further futile efforts are unnecessary, as it is evident that Han Yixian is in league with the Corpse Demon King.
Realizing that the truth can no longer be concealed, Han Mengci shares a story from the past. Hundreds of years ago, the Ghost Yin Mountain was indeed plagued by the Corpse Demon. A knight who claimed to be the Ghost General stepped forward and quickly subdued the Corpse Demon but was also affected by its toxic power. The villagers of Baihe couldn't bear to burn him and instead sealed him in the tomb. The villagers disguised themselves as Corpse Demons to guard the tomb. Han Yixian is already the third generation of guardians, and the tomb has remained undisturbed until now, but they don't know why it was unsealed this time.
Li Xiaoyao asks if they have heard of anything that the Corpse Demons fear. Han Mengci mentions that there is an unexplored area in the depths of the Ghost Yin Mountain called the Jade Buddha Temple, where the Corpse Demons have never set foot. When Han Mengci was infected with the Corpse Poison, Han Yixian was helpless. He sent the second and third senior members to the Jade Buddha Temple to find an item to control the Corpse Demons, but neither of them returned. Zhao Ling Er and Li Xiaoyao immediately decide to investigate the Jade Buddha Temple.
Before they leave, Han Mengci hands Zhao Ling Er a handkerchief and asks her to return it to Second Senior Jiang Shaoyun if she sees him.
A Nu searches for the Water Spirit Pearl alone, but worried about Tang Yu's severe injuries, she decides to return to the tomb. She finds Tang Yu holding the hairpin he bought for her. A Nu gives Tang Yu the Purple Gold Jade Holy Pill, and after a moment, Tang Yu's strength is restored. He realizes that A Nu gave him the Purple Gold Jade Holy Pill, which can cure any illness, no matter how severe.
Tang Yu is grateful, and A Nu is overjoyed to see Tang Yu recover. Li Xiaoyao arrives at the Jade Buddha Temple and finds a peaceful and serene atmosphere, in stark contrast to the devastated Baihe Village. However, Zhao Ling Er faintly senses a trace of demonic energy. They enter the temple, where the abbot, Zhi Xiu, receives them. When asked if they are willing to join forces in eliminating demons and upholding justice, Li Xiaoyao expresses his support. Zhi Xiu takes out a razor and a monk's robe, intending to give Li Xiaoyao a monastic haircut.
Li Xiaoyao, of course, refuses and comes up with various excuses to leave. Zhi Xiu takes out a bell and shakes it incessantly, causing the three of them to quickly lose consciousness. Li Xiaoyao falls into a sense of fulfillment and achievement, while Lin Yue Ru imagines defeating Li Xiaoyao but is still proposed to by him. Only Zhao Ling Er does not fall into a deep coma. Zhi Xiu asks Zhao Ling Er who she really is, as she managed to break through his Jade Buddha Formation. Zhao Ling Er uses her magic to awaken Li Xiaoyao and Lin Yue Ru from their unconscious state.
The three of them walk into the courtyard and discover that many monks have fallen under Zhi Xiu's illusion. Lin Yue Ru accidentally bumps into a monk's head, and suddenly, the monk becomes disoriented. Li Xiaoyao bends down to examine him and a handkerchief belonging to Han Mengci falls out. The monk picks up the handkerchief and bursts into tears, revealing that it was the token of love he gave to Han Mengci. Surprisingly, the monk is Jiang Shaoyun.
Zhi Xiu approaches the three of them again, ready to shake the bell, but Lin Yue Ru binds his hands and feet with a whip, and he instantly transforms into a child, claiming to be the incarnation of a Buddha bead from the Buddha statue before the case, named Little Stone. Little Stone sees that Zhao Ling Er can break his formation, so he asks to become her disciple and claims that he can solve the chaos caused by the Corpse Demons. Zhao Ling Er reluctantly agrees.
