Episode 15 recap: Su Yun candidly revealed the grudges between her and Jin Yao-wu.
Zheng Ren faced a dilemma: if he performed the surgery on Qin Li-ren, he would not be able to attend to Bai Li, whose medical condition was complex and severe. Su Yun proposed an alternative, but Zheng Ren insisted. Su Yun was fascinated by the hospital's advanced equipment and refused to return to Beidao. Jin Yao-wu was jealous of Zheng Ren's talent, while Kong Yu-min had high hopes for him.
Zheng Ren decided to first study Bai Li's case, and entrusted Qin Li-ren's surgery to Su Yun. Qin Li-ren refused Su Yun's surgery, and fainted in fear. Zheng Ren then replaced her and successfully performed the surgery, disappointing Jin Yao-wu. Kong Yu-min was optimistic about Zheng Ren but was concerned about Jin Yao-wu's displeasure. Zheng Ren inquired about the past conflict between Su Yun and Jin Yao-wu, and learned that Jin Yao-wu had once blamed Su Yun for a failed surgery on their teacher, which prevented the teacher from operating again.
Qin Li-ren, upon waking up, wanted to fire Zheng Ren and Su Yun, but Su Li refused on the grounds that Zheng Ren was attending a seminar. Huang A-guo felt hopeless about her mother's condition but had a slight fondness for Zheng Ren. Su Yun was determined to improve her medical skills, and Xie Yi-ren and Chang Yue were encouraged and looked forward to her changes.
Zheng Ren was convinced that the guide wire could be improved, and Feng Xu-hui brought good news that the guide wire tested by Rudolph had been successful.
