Episode 3 recap: Su Yun and Zheng Ren collaborated to overcome the difficulties.
Su Li sat next to Bu Ruo Tian, watching him closely. She carefully recalled the words Zheng Ren had said to her during the day, telling her that there was no difference between her and Bu Ruo Tian. Upon careful reflection, Bu Ruo Tian had never lacked money throughout his life, but that didn't bring him happiness or longevity. Upon hearing the assistant's words about Yun Yu Xia undergoing liver cancer surgery and the hospital's discussions claiming that Zheng Ren was slapping Lin Ge in the face, Lin Ge felt that Zhao Xin's words were a bit nonsensical. Zheng Ren and himself were focused on treating patients, without any other ulterior motives.
Su Yun came to find Zheng Ren but found nobody at home, so she entered. When Zheng Ren returned and saw Su Yun inside, he became very angry. Su Yun took Zheng Ren to practice the surgery for Yun Yu Xia in advance and even shared her secret base with him.
Zheng Ren was very curious about why Su Yun didn't perform the surgery herself, but Su Yun didn't want to answer. Despite this, Su Yun accompanied Zheng Ren during the practice. Zheng Ren walked over to the machine that Su Yun had bought water from and tried it, but it didn't dispense any water. Zheng Ren came to perform the surgery on Yun Yu Xia and asked He Qian to turn off the music. Su Li and Lin Ge were both nervous watching Zheng Ren perform the surgery. Lin Ge felt that the surgery was difficult and wanted Zheng Ren to give up, as the radiation from the patient's body was unbearable.
Zheng Ren felt hopeful and wanted to give it a try. Su Yun arrived and told Zheng Ren not to proceed because even if Yun Yu Xia had a successful surgery, she would still be paralyzed. Zheng Ren told Yun Yu Xia that he was willing to give it a try because life is precious. Yun Yu Xia agreed. Lin Ge thought that Zheng Ren's body couldn't handle it, and Zheng Ren hesitated. However, Yun Yu Xia encouraged Zheng Ren, which made him secretly determined to try three times.
The first two attempts failed, leaving Zheng Ren with only one last chance. Luckily, Zheng Ren succeeded. Lin Ge, Su Li, and Su Yun were also happy for Zheng Ren.
After the surgery, Su Yun also returned to the secret base to practice, but her hands were still trembling. Su Yun felt a bit disappointed.
Zheng Ren asked Su Li for a machine, but Su Li wanted Zheng Ren to accept an interview for publicity. Zheng Ren would rather have his salary deducted. Su Li overheard a nurse saying that there was a conjoined twin in need of separation, possibly requiring an expert's guidance. Su Yun felt that these parents were really irresponsible towards their children.
Su Li wanted to find a solution. Chang Yue reminded Su Yun that life is the most precious thing. Su Yun seemed a bit forgetful for a moment and had a strange expression. Zheng Ren went to Hai Cheng Aesthetic Hospital to investigate Li Ai Fang and the events at the orthopedic hospital seventeen years ago.

Zheng Ren understood what He Qian was trying to convey but didn't respond.
Su Yun also warned Zheng Ren not to have such thoughts. Su Yun looked at Zheng Ren, hoping that he would perform the conjoined twins surgery and provide assistance without compensation. Zheng Ren agreed without hesitation, and Su Yun also promised to help Zheng Ren solve the problem.
Su Li still strongly disagreed with the procurement of the equipment. Zheng Ren tried to convince Su Li to agree, and Su Yun brought up Chang Yue's case as an example, which deeply touched Su Li due to her own experience of losing a child.
