Episode 17 recap: Yao Zhi Ming desperately tries to win over Mai Cheng Huan.
Yao Zhi Ming bought a bouquet of flowers to give to Mai Cheng Huan, but felt too shy, so he used the excuse of asking her to bring him water. Yao Zhi Ming recommended that Mai Cheng Huan join the hotel phase two project team, and Mai Cheng Huan suspects that Yao Zhi Ming has an ulterior motive.
Zhang Pei Sheng went to the nursing home to see Chen Shu Zhen and straightforwardly stated his purpose, but Chen Shu Zhen flatly refused. Yao Zhi Ming went to see Chen Shu Zhen and found her fainted in the bathroom.
Mai Cheng Huan and Liu Wan Yu had a major fallout and moved out of their home. Mai Cheng Huan hired a renovation team to do work at the house, but Liu Wan Yu, still angry, drove the team away. Mai Cheng Zao happened to run into his former colleague at the law firm, who informed him of the Xin family's current situation - Xin Jia Liang is despondent, Xin Jia Li and Luo Ming Li are in the midst of a divorce, and the company is being solely managed by Chen De Jing. The colleague also invited Mai Cheng Zao to join his team.

Song Huai Min actually sued Mao Mao, and Mai Cheng Zao actively offered to defend Mao Mao. Mai Cheng Huan decided to establish an independent brand for Mao Mao.
That night, Mai Cheng Huan stayed up late researching the plan, and Chen Shu Zhen couldn't sleep, so she gave Mai Cheng Huan some advice. Today was the weekend, and Yao Zhi Ming came to see Chen Shu Zhen early in the morning. Mai Cheng Huan was still fast asleep, so Yao Zhi Ming took a photo of her sleeping. Yao Zhi Ming took Mai Cheng Huan out for breakfast, carefully reviewed her design plan, and suggested designing a souvenir for Botticelli. Mai Cheng Huan was suddenly enlightened and went to discuss it with Mao Mao without even finishing her meal. Yao Zhi Ming hit a dead end at Chen Shu Zhen's regarding the Xing'an Hotel matter, and Zhang Pei Sheng personally came to discuss cooperation with Chen Shu Zhen. Chen Shu Zhen was not interested, so Zhang Pei Sheng brought up Yao Zhi Ming. Yao Zhi Ming came to deliver breakfast to Chen Shu Zhen, and overheard the conversation from outside, quickly going in to call Zhang Pei Sheng away, making Chen Shu Zhen realize that Yao Zhi Ming and Zhang Pei Sheng were working together on the Xing'an Hotel.
Yao Zhi Ming reminded Zhang Pei Sheng not to be too hasty, but Zhang Pei Sheng retorted sarcastically. Yao Zhi Ming returned to the nursing home and found Chen Shu Zhen fainted in the bathroom, so he rushed her to the hospital.
Song Huai Min bought the luxury goods designed by Mao Mao, but without even unpacking the package, he returned them and deliberately gave her a bad review. Mao Mao was furious and wanted to sue Song Huai Min, but Mai Cheng Huan suggested that she use public opinion to exert pressure on Song Huai Min.
