Episode 26 recap: Mai Cheng Huan and Yao Zhi Ming started dating.
Zhang Zi Yu went to Yao Zhi Ming's home and secretly took photos of Yao Zhi Ming and Mai Cheng Huan, then threatened Mai Cheng Huan with the photos, but Mai Cheng Huan did not give in. Zhang Zi Yu realized that Yao Zhi Ming had unreciprocated feelings.Mai Cheng Huan opened her heart to Yao Zhi Ming, and Yao Zhi Ming comforted her with kind words. Yao Zhi Ming confessed his feelings to Mai Cheng Huan from the balcony, and Mai Cheng Huan asked him to meet her at 5 AM the next morning.
After work, Mai Cheng Huan learned from Liu Wan Yu that Zhang Zi Yu had come to Yao Zhi Ming's home and claimed to be his girlfriend, but Yao Zhi Ming denied this and only saw her as a sister. Liu Wan Yu encouraged Mai Cheng Huan to learn from Zhang Zi Yu's boldness and pursue her own happiness.
Mai Cheng Huan called Mao Mao that night to consult about the situation, and Mao Mao felt that Yao Zhi Ming and Zhang Zi Yu's relationship was unusual, leaving Mai Cheng Huan feeling bitter. Zhang Zi Yu couldn't find Yao Zhi Ming anywhere, so she went to look for He Dong, who was on a date with his girlfriend. He Dong saw Zhang Zi Yu and ran away in fright, but was caught by her.
Liu Wan Yu went to the hotel to chat with Liu Wan Rong, and Qiu Qiu accidentally stained a customer's dress. Fang Jie not only refused to apologize, but also argued with the customer's boyfriend, who wanted to call the police. Liu Wan Yu quickly tried to smooth things over, but Fang Zhi Hong was unyielding, and they got into a heated argument.
Mai Cheng Huan rushed over, repeatedly apologized to the customer, and offered to pay for the dry cleaning, finally getting the customer to relent. Fang Zhi Hong and Fang Jie were unhappy with Mai Cheng Huan's actions and mocked her, and Liu Wan Yu blamed her for not backing them up. Mai Cheng Huan got angry and confronted them, until Fang Da came to mediate and persuade them to leave.
Mai Cheng Huan called Fang Da to discuss a collaboration, and the two got along well. Zhang Zi Yu happened to be at Xing An Li and secretly took a photo of them, then sent it to He Dong, who told Yao Zhi Ming about it.
Yao Zhi Ming went to Xing An Li to tell Zhang Zi Yu not to cause trouble, but Zhang Zi Yu suspected he liked Mai Cheng Huan and insisted on competing with her fairly. Despite Yao Zhi Ming's objections, Zhang Zi Yu went to apply for a job at Mai Cheng Huan's company. Mai Cheng Huan told her to apply through the normal process, and then Zhang Zi Yu agreed to leave.
Liu Wan Yu accompanied the Liu family on a full day of sightseeing. She was exhausted, so Mai Cheng Huan advised her not to overdo it. Liu Wan Yu wanted Mai Cheng Huan to join the Liu family on their outing to help them bond, but he politely declined, citing work.
Yao Zhi Ming offered to accompany the Liu family instead, but Liu Wan Yu didn't want to trouble him, so she asked Mai Cheng Zao to be their tour guide. Mai Cheng Huan was busy with work, coming and going early and late, but Yao Zhi Ming was attentive to her, even taking her on a bus tour around the city.
Mao Mao called Mai Cheng Zao, asking him to take Ding Ding to the aquarium the next day. Mai Cheng Zao was already planning to take Ball Ball there, so they agreed to go together.
On the bus tour, Yao Zhi Ming casually asked Mai Cheng Huan about her relationship with Fang Da. Mai Cheng Huan explained they had only met a few times as children. Yao Zhi Ming then confessed his feelings to Mai Cheng Huan, and she impulsively kissed him. They shared a passionate embrace.
When they got home, Mai Cheng Huan wanted to keep their relationship a secret until the Liu family left. Yao Zhi Ming agreed. They quietly went upstairs to their separate rooms, both too excited to sleep. Yao Zhi Ming messaged Mai Cheng Huan to meet him early the next morning before work, but she was worried Liu Wan Yu might find out, so Yao Zhi Ming came to the balcony and quietly called her out. They exchanged endless words of affection, and Mai Cheng Huan agreed to meet him at 5am the next day.
Liu Wan Yu heard noises on the balcony and thought it was mice, so she told Mai Lai Tian to buy rat poison the next day.
At the aquarium, Ding Ding and Ball Ball got into a fight over a toy. Fang Jie yelled at Ding Ding, sparking an argument with Mao Mao. Mai Cheng Zao tried to mediate, but Fang Jie turned his anger on Mai Cheng Zao, threatening to expose his past. Mai Cheng Zao fought back, and Fang Jie left in a huff, taking Ball Ball with him.
Yao Zhi Ming couldn't stop thinking about Mai Cheng Huan and couldn't wait to see her again. Though she was swamped with work, they made plans to have dinner together that evening. Eager to see her, Yao Zhi Ming even brought her lunch, feeding her while she worked.
Fang Jie took Liu Wan Yu and Fang Zhi Hong home to complain about Mai Cheng Zao.
