Luo Min Min came home from work to find her home in disarray, with hoodlums causing trouble again. She helped her brother clean up, and planned to have her police colleagues come take photos to intimidate the troublemakers.

Hua Zhen informed Meng Duo Ci of the investigation findings upon returning home, and Meng was very grateful, also pleased with the loose-fitting clothes Hua Zhen had bought.

Luo Min Min found there was no ladies' changing room at her workplace and initially wanted to apply for one, but heard it could impact her salary, so she immediately dropped the idea.

At the police station meeting, the 4th team remained unpopular. Though a long-serving officer, Luo Rong Hua had no prospects for promotion due to his lack of ambition and connections. He was happy to serve the others, but didn't even have a chair.  

When the police inquired about the Wen Hua Hotel incident, Luo Rong Hua wasn't clear on the details, and Chen Hao's leads were taken over by superiors, who decided to transfer the case to the city authorities. Luo was relieved to have fewer cases and immediately organized the files to prepare for new ones.

Hua Zhen's 4th team received a lead that the kidnapper had been seen near the hotel. The eager new officer Hua Zhen insisted on leading the arrest, angering his team. Luo Min Min was nervous going into the operation. Hua Zhen entered an expensive cafe to find a vantage point, and Luo Min Min bought him coffee and a chocolate cake.

Disregarding the French Concession ban, Hua Zhen went ahead with the arrest of the kidnapper. The French police demanded his release and Hua Zhen's arrest, but Chen Hao argued forcefully, finally making them back down. Chen Hao then reprimanded Hua Zhen for his recklessness, questioning Hua's motives for joining the 4th team.
