Episode 25 recap: Zhou Luo lights up the world of Nan Ya with love.
When there was going to be a movie screening in town, Zhou Luo took the initiative to invite Nan Ya to watch it together. Although Nan Ya didn't respond directly, she still brought her daughter Wan Wan to the appointment. In the cinema, Zhou Luo sat in the back row with Nan Ya and leaned over to make funny faces, making her and Wan Wan laugh. After the movie ended, Zhou Luo held Wan Wan and asked her to call him "Little Uncle."
Later, Zhou Luo used the excuse of his upcoming birthday to ask Nan Ya for a gift. Nan Ya couldn't help but laugh at his childishness. On Zhou Luo's birthday, Nan Ya bought him a birthday cake, and Zhou Luo made a wish while blowing the candles, hoping that Nan Ya could return to the mindset she had when she was nineteen and get to know him. However, Nan Ya felt that it was impossible.
Because Lin Gui Xiang had helped a lot before, Nan Ya was very grateful. Nan Ya proposed that Xu Yi sign the divorce agreement, but to her surprise, Xu Yi readily agreed. He then asked Nan Ya to lend him her ID card, wanting to use her identity to register a company and transfer black money.
Facing this request, Nan Ya refused and warned Xu Yi to turn himself in early. Xu Yi, feeling angry and ashamed, snatched the signed divorce agreement and reminded Nan Ya that she needed to exchange her ID card if she wanted a divorce. On that day, everyone celebrated Zhou Luo's birthday, singing and laughing, but Zhou Luo's enthusiasm was lacking.
After much consideration, Nan Ya decided to personally go to the wooden bridge to meet Zhou Luo. As expected, Zhou Luo rushed over eagerly and felt relieved when he saw Nan Ya. Then, Nan Ya took Zhou Luo to an abandoned swimming pool, where she had once considered taking her own life. At the age of nineteen, Nan Ya had experienced too much misfortune and felt that her future was bleak. She had tied a rope around her ankle and intended to drown herself. Zhou Luo felt a deep sorrow for Nan Ya and expressed his desire to go back to that year, holding her tightly in his arms to make up for all the pain she had endured.
After saying these words, Zhou Luo embraced Nan Ya, as if he was holding onto her living hope, allowing her to see a glimmer of light in her dark life.
