Episode 15 recap: Lu Xiao Lu left Shanghai.

Lu Xiao Lu and Bai Lan were working part-time in Shanghai. Lu Xiao Lu worked as a doorman at a hotel, but encountered very rude customers who asked Lu Xiao Lu to shine their shoes. Lu Xiao Lu endured it, while Bai Lan worked as a model taking photos and was harassed by malicious individuals. Bai Lan also chose to endure it. Lu Xiao Lu became angry and felt that Bai Lan had changed. Bai Lan stated that the Lu Xiao Lu they knew wouldn't work as a doorman for someone else. This created a crisis between them.

Surprisingly, Lu Xiao Lu became a doorman, but he wasn't skilled at it. His colleagues taught him to have a keen eye as a doorman and, most importantly, to identify customers who could give tips. Later, pointing at a foreign customer walking towards them, Lu Xiao Lu said she looked stylish but always ordered instant coffee from the hotel, indicating that she wasn't someone who would give a tip. Lu Xiao Lu was contemplating what his colleague had said when the woman took the initiative to ask Lu Xiao Lu for directions to Chenghuang Temple. Lu Xiao Lu understood half of what she said and guessed the rest. Finally, Lu Xiao Lu patiently provided the customer with directions. The customer thanked Lu Xiao Lu for his help and generously gave him a tip. This was Lu Xiao Lu's first tip, and he was very happy. Even his colleagues were happy for him.

Bai Lan's modeling work also progressed smoothly, and the boss had high expectations for Bai Lan. The boss promised Bai Lan better opportunities and increased compensation for her work. Bai Lan understood what the boss meant, but she directly refused and didn't look back even when the boss tried to persuade her.

Lu Xiao Lu and Bai Lan were shopping when they came across a high-end restaurant named "Blue Road." Bai Lan's first reaction was that the name of the restaurant had both her and Lu Xiao Lu's names in it. Lu Xiao Lu and Bai Lan made a promise to each other that they would go to that restaurant together in the future. Bai Lan smiled and nodded.

Lu Xiao Lu worked diligently, and he also encountered a food exhibition held at the hotel. After obtaining a promotional flyer, Lu Xiao Lu called Qin Juan, hoping that Li Guang Nan and others could come and expand the market for milk tea in Shanghai. Qin Juan asked why he didn't call Li Guang Nan directly, but Lu Xiao Lu couldn't come up with a reasonable explanation. However, Qin Juan understood the awkwardness between Lu Xiao Lu and Li Guang Nan.

Qin Juan then told Li Guang Nan about the situation, and he quickly agreed, but he stubbornly claimed that he wasn't doing it to see Lu Xiao Lu but to improve the sales of milk tea. Bai Lan encountered the landlady downstairs when she returned home at night. The landlady asked where her brother had been recently, and Bai Lan explained that he was still in the hospital. The landlady didn't pretend and openly admitted that she had already found out. Bai Lan immediately pleaded and assured her that they were indeed going through a difficult time but things would get better. The landlady expressed understanding but stated that people in their situation wouldn't be able to hold on for long. Bai Lan understood the landlady's meaning, and Lu Xiao Lu upstairs heard everything.

The next day, Bai Lan found the boss and expressed her desire to seize the opportunity from last time. She then walked straight past him.

Lu Xiao Lu saw Bai Lan's photo displayed on a board at the sales exhibition and got excited. He rushed over and accidentally bumped into a female customer. The customer immediately started making a scene, and the manager came over and told Lu Xiao Lu to apologize. He even made Lu Xiao Lu kneel down and shine the customer's shoes. Lu Xiao Lu endured it, but in that moment, when he looked up after picking up the tip, he saw Qin Juan and Li Guang Nan! Li Guang Nan remarked that Xiao Lu had changed and wanted him to go back, but Xiao Lu refused. Li Guang Nan's words became more and more hurtful, and they ended up parting ways.

In the evening, Lu Xiao Lu returned home and told Bai Lan that if he had known what working for the fashion company was like, he would never have agreed to it. Bai Lan felt wronged and directly closed the curtains, refusing to listen to Xiao Lu any further. The next day, Lu Xiao Lu went to his colleague and bought a camera for 1,000 yuan. The colleague said he earned the money playing mahjong. Lu Xiao Lu wanted to buy it as a birthday gift for Bai Lan.

Meanwhile, Bai Lan was taken by her boss to meet a Mr. Huang, who wanted to invite Bai Lan to be a model for jewelry. However, Bai Lan rejected the offer, saying her boyfriend didn't like her being a model. Afterwards, she waited for Lu Xiao Lu at "Blue Road," and they ended up going home together and having a meal. Lu Xiao Lu also gave the camera to Bai Lan and said he didn't dislike that profession, he just didn't want Bai Lan to work so hard. They made a promise that from then on, one would take photos while the other would be the model.

While Lu Xiao Lu was working normally, the police came to his door, saying it was about the stolen camera. Lu Xiao Lu explained that he bought the camera from a colleague, but he didn't have any proof, and the colleague had run away. On Bai Lan's side, she also encountered trouble. Mr. Huang unexpectedly came to her school to give a lecture and publicly asked Bai Lan about her stolen camera.

Afterwards, Bai Lan hoped that Mr. Huang could give her boyfriend a break, but he refused. Bai Lan even said she could admit that she instructed her boyfriend to steal it, but Mr. Huang told her to think carefully. In the evening, Lu Xiao Lu returned home, and Bai Lan served him a dish. However, Lu Xiao Lu asked her why she had to bear it all by herself and if it was because she didn't believe in him either. Bai Lan said she didn't want to argue but still shed tears.

Soon, Bai Lan received the news of her expulsion from school. After saying goodbye to her roommate, she returned home but found that Lu Xiao Lu had left a letter and left!
