Episode 6 recap: Lu Xiao Lu drunkenly confesses to Bai Lan.
The members of the maintenance team listened quietly as Lu Xiao Lu played the piano and sang. Scenes of Lu Xiao Lu and Bai Lan helping Afang flashed through their minds. Suddenly, someone brought news that Bai Lan had been transferred to the boiler room. The reason was that Bai Lan had provided a fake mental health certificate for Afang. Ding De Zhong's wife had gone to see the factory manager about it. Lu Xiao Lu became anxious upon hearing this.
By that time, Bai Lan had already reported to the boiler room. However, the people in the boiler room did not accept Bai Lan because they all knew that Afang was not mentally ill. Bai Lan had provided a false certificate, so everyone felt that Bai Lan was going against the working class. They told Bai Lan to go and shovel coal. When Lu Xiao Lu arrived, Bai Lan's gloves were already worn out, and the people around were still giving orders to Bai Lan. Lu Xiao Lu punched the person and took Bai Lan away.

Lu Xiao Lu hid outside and secretly watched Bi Zhi Gang acting aggressively, but Bai Lan seemed completely unfazed. In the end, Bi Zhi Gang left an envelope and departed. Only then did Lu Xiao Lu enter the room. Bai Lan's attitude had drastically changed and they were very happy, wearing gloves and sipping the beverage. While Lu Xiao Lu was looking at the envelope left by Bi Zhi Gang, they opened it and found a room key inside. When Bi Zhi Gang arrived at the hotel, he specifically asked the front desk if anyone had checked into the room he had reserved. After receiving a positive answer, Bi Zhi Gang happily took the elevator and bounced towards the room. Upon entering, he heard someone showering. During a meeting back at the factory, Lu Xiao Lu asked Li Kenan why he didn't come back the previous night. Li Kenan bluntly said it was because Qin Juan wasn't in a good mood and he stayed with her the whole night. Lu Xiao Lu smirked, and Li Kenan insisted that nothing happened, adding that it would be irresponsible to engage in a relationship without being sure. Lu Xiao Lu fell into deep thought.
When the meeting ended, Lu Xiao Lu found Bai Lan and Bai Lan claimed that nothing had happened. However, Lu Xiao Lu still felt strange and sensed that there was something they wanted to say but couldn't articulate. Just when they were about to gather the courage to pursue Bai Lan, they discovered Bai Lan getting into a car with another man and heading towards the hotel!
