Plot Synopsis

The deaf housewife, Mai Lingjing, has a seeminglyperfect husband, Wang Shiming, and a caring best friend, Su Xi. However, her seemingly blissful life shatters when she unexpectedly regains her hearing and discovers that her husband has been having an affair with her best friend, and they areplotting a more terrifying conspiracy. In order to uncover the truth, Mai Lingjing endures humiliation and continues topretend to be deaf, embarking on apath of revenge against her husband and best friend.

Mai Lingjing, a wealthy heiress (played by Bai Xuhan), works alongside her husband, Wang Shiming (played by Liu Yanqiao), to manage their company after her father's death. Due to a car accident, she loses her hearing but her husband and best friend, Su Xi (played by Zhao Xixi), are always by her side. However, after suffering a fall and miscarrying, Mai Lingjing miraculously regains her hearing and discovers that all the happiness she had was an illusion. She realizes that her husband and best friend have been having an affair and have ulterior motives. There are also suspicious circumstances surrounding her father's death. In order to uncover the truth, Mai Lingjing decides to conceal the fact that she has regained her hearing and continues toplay the role of a understanding wife and caring friend. She gradually collects evidence,plans to divorce her husband, and reclaim everything that belongs to her.
