Episode 4 recap: Zhang Feng Xia's whole family moved with the Su Li Tan family.

Not long after, Zhang Feng Xia's whole family followed Su Li Tan and the others to move together. They would stop and rest after walking for a while. Everyone was a little worried because Ba Tai's horse team hadn't caught up. But Ba Tai thought it was fine as long as they kept an eye on the sheep, after all, sheep are more foolish while horses are intelligent and wouldn't lose their way.

The spring grassland was still somewhat cold, and even though Li Wen Xiu was wearing a padded jacket, she couldn't resist the stinging sensation of the cold wind on her face. Ba Tai picked up something from the ground and wiped it on Li Wen Xiu's face, which made her feel warm. When she asked, she found out it was a sheep dung egg used to treat frostbite.

Everyone present laughed, but Li Wen Xiu thought the sheep dung egg had no smell. Just as dawn was breaking, Zhang Feng Xia's family packed up their belongings and prepared to move. Unexpectedly, Uncle Buick had already set off and left a letter reminding Zhang Feng Xia to travel with the Su Li Tan family.

After reading the letter, Su Li Tan nodded calmly and agreed to take them to the Xia Ranch, and asked Ba Tai to pick a good horse for Li Wen Xiu. Before long, the large group set off in a grand manner, experiencing mud and thick fog along the way, seeing the vast grassland and the snow line on the Altai Mountain.

Along the way, when they encountered villagers who needed help, Ba Tai would stop without hesitation to lend a hand. The local Mongolian people warmly offered milk tea as hospitality, and the fellow travelers took care of each other. Li Wen Xiu and Ba Tai gradually became acquainted. The spring grassland was still somewhat cold, and the wind by the river was even colder, like a sharp knife. Even though Li Wen Xiu was wearing a padded jacket, she still felt the stinging sensation of the cold wind brushing against her skin.

Ba Tai picked up something from the ground and wiped it on Li Wen Xiu's face, making her feel warm. When she asked, she found out it was a sheep dung egg used to treat frostbite, which made everyone present burst into laughter. At first, Tuo Ken complained that Zhang Feng Xia didn't speak up for him, but Li Wen Xiu explained some misunderstandings and accidentally learned that she already had someone she liked.

According to Tuo Ken's description, the current man was completely different from Mu La Ti. He knew how to love and tolerate her, allowing her to see the beauty of love. Grandma wanted to distribute cookies to the children, but Zhang Feng Xia snatched the cookie box directly and nervously held it in her arms. Everyone set up their tents and camped near the Fairy Bay. Li Wen Xiu accompanied Zhang Feng Xia to stroll around Fairy Bay, listening to her telling the romantic legends of this place.

Because Zhang Feng Xia and her husband Li Shan met here, Fairy Bay held special meaning for her. But in the next moment, the cookie box suddenly fell into the lake, no matter how she tried to catch it, it slipped away. Li Wen Xiu asked and learned that her father's ashes were inside. With things having come to this point, Li Wen Xiu could only comfort her mother that the departed had already passed, and five years was enough time for her to move on.

However, Zhang Feng Xia had deep feelings for her husband, and the thought of losing the ashes made her unable to help but cry with regret. At this moment, several green-eyed wolves appeared around them, and Li Wen Xiu and Zhang Feng Xia didn't have time to take a closer look. They quickly climbed up a tree.

Fortunately, Su Li Tan appeared at a critical moment and shot several wolves with a hunting rifle. The sound of the gun attracted Ba Tai, who was somewhat dissatisfied with his father hiding the guns and believed that he should have handed them all over to Uncle Buick. Zhang Feng Xia was very grateful for Su Li Tan's life-saving grace. When she returned to the tent, she still had lingering fear. The group of people lay side by side in the tent, with Li Wen Xiu and Tuo Ken chatting and laughing, creating a warm and pleasant atmosphere.

Early the next morning, everyone packed up their belongings and said their prayers before setting off again towards the depths of the desert. Soon, Li Wen Xiu saw Ba Tai's good friend, border patrol officer Chao Ge. Although Chao Ge belonged to the Mongolian ethnic group, Mongolian and Kazakh languages had some similarities, so there was no barrier in communication between Su Li Tan's group and Chao Ge's family.

Chao Ge's family warmly welcomed everyone and invited them into a Mongolian yurt to drink milk tea and taste mutton. Zhang Feng Xia and Chao Ge had a brief conversation and speculated that he was the person Tuo Ken liked. As expected, Chao Ge's family brought up the marriage of the children, hoping that Su Li Tan would agree to Tuo Ken remarrying and bringing the two children over.

Su Li Tan agreed to Tuo Ken's remarriage, but the custody of the grandchildren became a contentious issue, and both sides couldn't reach a consensus. Li Wen Xiu couldn't bear to listen anymore and directly interrupted their conversation. She expressed that all traditions and civilizations were gradually explored by humanity in the process of world transformation, and nothing remained unchanged. Adapting to the new era and adjusting one's life was the right thing to do, and clinging to old traditions could potentially be detrimental.

After she finished speaking, there was silence in the room, and Li Wen Xiu belatedly realized that she had overstepped. Even though Zhang Feng Xia quickly apologized, it was of no use. Su Li Tan immediately decided to continue the journey with the group and leave them to go to the Xia Ranch on their own. That day, the three of them, grandmother and grandchildren, struggled without the help of the larger group and were exhausted after half a day of traveling.

Just as Li Wen Xiu was preparing to set up the tent, she suddenly saw Ba Tai riding a spirited horse appearing in the distance. This scene seemed like a divine intervention, warm and stunning, under the lingering twilight. In addition, Jiang Bu Er also came over with a pot of milk tea to visit and worked tirelessly until sunset. Finally, the tent was set up.

Li Wen Xiu personally accompanied Ba Tai as they walked through the woods. Although there was no moon, it was pitch black, but the starry sky was magnificent, celebrating in the upper half of the world. The brightness of the stars sharply contrasted with the darkness of the earth. Li Wen Xiu looked up silently, while Ba Tai looked at her. Suddenly, he reminded her to beware of the local men in the ranch and not to be too friendly towards them, or she would attract many "boyfriends." After saying that, he shyly rode away on his horse, and Li Wen Xiu slowly revealed a smile.
