Episode 5 recap: Gao Xiaoliang was saved in the desert by Zhang Fengxia.
Zhang Fengxia stopped in front of a tree, holding a camel's reins. She looked for a long time, then suddenly climbed up the tree and pried out a wolf's tooth with a dagger, cherishing it like a treasure as she put it in her pocket. Her gaze then turned to the ground next to the tree, where a dead wolf had been lying for some time. After a moment of silence, Zhang Fengxia personally dug a hole next to the tree and buried the wolf.

Among the Kazakh people, there is a traditional custom that domesticated cattle, sheep, horses, and camels are only kept for personal, friends', and guests' consumption. They cannot be sold as commodities, which means that if a completely unfamiliar person suddenly arrives, they would immediately slaughter cattle or sheep to generously treat the visitor. However, if the visitor wants to pay money to buy them, it would be meaningless.
However, with the passage of time, this custom has dwindled under the impact of the modern era. But the ancient spirit of restraining desires still remains deeply buried in the hearts of this people. Finally, one day, Zhang Fengxia decided to personally go out and buy a sheep so she could have fresh sheep's milk every day. However, during the bargaining process, they couldn't reach an agreement on the price.
As it was already dark, Zhang Fengxia followed the advice of the herders and stayed overnight. Unexpectedly, the herders themselves slaughtered the sheep that she had chosen as a generous dinner. The hospitable Kazakh herders informed Li Wenxiu, who ran the grocery store, that Zhang Fengxia planned to travel around the area and might return home later than expected.
Upon hearing that there were travelers passing by, Li Wenxiu hurriedly went to see and indeed found the A Yao family. She made an agreement with A Yao's daughter, Ku Lan, to visit their home when she had time. On the way back, Li Wenxiu happened to see Ba Tai releasing horses on the grassland. Under the sunlight, he appeared extremely charming.

Due to Tuo Ken and Chao Ge's wedding plans, Uncle Buick came to Su Li Tan as a mediator, as he believed that the two children would eventually have to return to school, and Su Li Tan would likely have a hard time taking care of them. However, Su Li Tan couldn't listen, and Uncle Buick stopped pressing. He then asked about the incident of Su Li Tan hunting wolves with a hunting rifle, to which Su Li Tan denied owning a hunting rifle.
Buick Uncle came to the tent shop to buy things and coincidentally encountered Ba Tai looking for Li Wen Xiu. He could see the affection between the two young people. After saying that, she wrapped herself in clothes and lay down beside him. Gao Xiaoliang was grateful for her rescue and wanted to repay her, but his offer was rejected.
The next morning, Zhang Feng Xia stopped a car for Gao Xiaoliang, filled his motorcycle with fuel, and indicated that he should follow her to leave the area. Gao Xiaoliang lied, saying that he had been cheated by a friend and hoped to accompany Zhang Feng Xia, even if it meant working for her. However, he was once again rejected.
Li Wen Xiu and Ku Lan went to the river to wash clothes and coincidentally met Tuo Ken, who lent her the washboard. Tuo Ken revealed that Ku Lan's cousin was getting married, and Ba Tai would also be attending. The young men would sing and dance, and they invited Li Wen Xiu to come. Li Wen Xiu said she would wait for her mother to come back and tell her.
Zhang Feng Xia left Gao Xiaoliang behind and returned home. Gao Xiaoliang couldn't catch up with her due to motorcycle problems, but fortunately, a fellow villager passed by and helped him fix the bike, revealing Zhang Feng Xia's whereabouts.
During their conversation, Li Wen Xiu learned that Ku Lan already had someone she liked, which piqued her curiosity. However, Ku Lan didn't reveal the person's identity. Tuo Ken wanted to attend the wedding and hesitantly asked Su Li Tan to help take care of the children, to which Su Li Tan agreed readily.
Later, Li Wen Xiu, Ku Lan, and Tuo Ken went to the wedding venue, picking various wild foods along the way. They also saw a group of boys galloping on horseback with an impressive display on the hilltop, with Ba Tai particularly eye-catching. Meanwhile, with the guidance of the local herders, Gao Xiaoliang finally found the small grocery store run by Zhang Feng Xia.
