Episode 15 recap: The clue of Anhui Temple reveals itself.
At a glance, Lin Hao Han could actually tell the origin of the porcelain jar, and he intended to use this knowledge to his advantage. He used sweet words and flattery to get closer to Liu Lin, hoping to take advantage of this opportunity. However, the clever Liu Lin had already seen through Lin Hao Han's ulterior motives and planned to use his scheming against him. She managed to extract the information about the porcelain jar's origin - Anhui Temple in Fujian.
Liu Lin set up a plan to escape from the inn but was captured and brought back by the more skilled Men San Dao. Meanwhile, Wang Di Bao and Ding Yu were having a meal on the street when they coincidentally encountered Lin An Jing disguised as a newly kidnapped prostitute. Unable to bear the situation, Wang Di Bao decided to rescue Lin An Jing, and Ding Yu keenly noticed that there was something more than meets the eye between the two.
However, the truth was that all of this was part of Lin An Jing's plan. She deliberately let Wang Di Bao discover her and rescue her. Although Wang Di Bao had doubts in his heart, he still couldn't bring himself to leave her behind. Wang Jialuo was dragged out by Ding Yu to have a meal and unexpectedly saw Lin An Jing disguised as a newly kidnapped prostitute.
Unable to bear the situation, Wang Jialuo decided to rescue Lin An Jing. Lin Hao Han could actually tell the origin of the porcelain jar at a glance. The reason he didn't say anything was that he wanted to gain some convenience from it. He knew that the Imperial Household Department, martial arts sects, and the Japanese were all searching for a batch of treasures, and he wanted to take the opportunity to make a big profit.
He wanted to ask Liu Lin about what Mu Qing and the others were looking for, but the clever Liu Lin directly told him that she was a member of the Alliance and came to Shanxi to search for treasures. Based on his experience, Lin Hao Han guessed that the treasures were not in Shanxi; Shanxi was just a clue.
Liu Lin hoped that Lin Hao Han would tell her the secret of the porcelain jar, so that Mr. Sun could naturally give him a huge fortune in the future. Lin Hao Han didn't trust Liu Lin and naturally didn't want to tell her the secret of the porcelain jar. Liu Lin set up a plan to leave the station but was caught by Mu Qing as soon as she left. Mu Qing warned Liu Lin not to act recklessly and promised to let her go if she could tell him all the secrets of the treasures.
Liu Lin was taken back to her room, where she told Lin Hao Han that the Alliance was formed to rescue the countless compatriots oppressed by the Qing Dynasty and to establish a powerful democratic country. She threatened him not to reveal the secret of the porcelain jar to the government's lackeys. After Wang Jialuo rescued Lin An Jing, she explained that she had followed Wang Jialuo all the way because she had been kidnapped and sold to Shanxi Fen Prefecture by human traffickers. Although Wang Jialuo had doubts in his heart, he still couldn't bring himself to leave her behind.
Lin An Jing knew that Wang Jialuo didn't trust her, but she made it clear that she also wanted to find the treasures. She wanted to know why those who were searching for the treasures had killed her family. Although she didn't have the ability herself, she knew that Wang Jialuo had the capability.
Master Mo Kun learned from Zhuo Bu Fan that their group's purpose was to find the treasure, and Zhuo Bu Fan speculated that the treasure was likely located in Anhui Temple, which was far away in Shandong based on the information from the bottom of the porcelain jar.
Zhuo Bu Fan knew that they were being closely watched by the Imperial Household Department and the Japanese. He proposed that he and a group of people could leave first to divert their attention, while the senior brother and Qin Tuo would protect Master Mo Kun and head to Shandong. Mo Kun agreed to Zhuo Bu Fan's proposal but also informed him that the secret treasure of Jingtan was not in Anhui Temple. Nan Shaolin was also known as Linquan Temple, and the secret treasure of Jingtan was previously called Linquan Secret Treasure.
Furthermore, there were not two copies of the treasure map but three. In the 40th year of the Kangxi reign, 3,000 Imperial Guards besieged Nan Shaolin. The abbot of that time, before passing away, divided the maps revealing the hidden treasures and martial arts texts among the three abbots of the Dharma Hall, Discipline Hall, and Bodhi Hall, instructing them to escape in different directions. Even if Zhuo Bu Fan found the three treasure maps, they would be useless without the mantras from the Prajna Hall.
Mo Kun tested Zhuo Bu Fan's swordsmanship and realized that Zhuo Bu Fan was much stronger than his two junior disciples, making him a suitable candidate for the sect's leadership position. Although Zhuo Bu Fan lost the match, he noticed that Master Mo Kun wasn't using the Rongtian Sword Technique. Mo Kun told Zhuo Bu Fan that he was using the Three Dharma Seal Sword of Nan Shaolin's Bodhi Hall.
Back then, Mo Kun met Cheng Yu, who made him realize that the Rongtian Sword Technique was no match for the Three Dharma Seal Sword. Cheng Yu told Mo Kun that if he only focused on Rongtian Ridge or the sword sects, his vision would be too narrow, and his sword would only reach this far. Since then, Mo Kun understood that revitalizing the sect couldn't be achieved by one or two individuals alone. The millennium-old sects relied on orderly succession.
Mo Kun informed Zhuo Bu Fan and the others that Cheng Yu had introduced him to many people, including the former chief manager of the internal government office. Mo Kun and Cheng Yu had assisted in the failed reform and had to flee, with one going to Shanxi and the other to the frontier. Cheng Yu told Mo Kun that their swords could slay people but couldn't change hearts. The weak scholars, without swords in their hands, could overturn the world.
Mo Kun shared these words with Zhuo Bu Fan, who was willing to cooperate with Prince Qi, in the hope that he would understand these principles. There was no greater act of chivalry than saving the country. Mo Kun believed that if Zhuo Bu Fan found the treasure and offered it to the nobles, it would not benefit the people. The treasure should be given to those who could truly revitalize the country. Mu Qing and Wang Jialuo tracked Zhuo Bu Fan and met again. Mu Qing mentioned that Zhuo Bu Fan and Huo Cen were heading west, but Yu Huanjie and Qin Tuo were not with them. He suspected that the group from Rongtian Ridge had split into two, with one being a decoy.
Mu Qing couldn't determine for sure who the true treasure seekers were and planned to wait and see for now.
