Episode 2 recap: Qiu Hao Er was framed by Qiu Zhi Bin.

Gao Jun's father, Gao Cheng, recalled the time when Qiu Han Yang helped their family and asked Gao Jun to go and see the unconscious Qiu Han Yang. Gao Jun agreed, and Qiu Zhi Tong went to Gao Jun's father's shop to buy coffee. Gao Jun asked her about Qiu Han Yang's illness, and Qiu Zhi Tong told him everything, including the matter of the power of attorney.

While Qiu Hao Er was serving as the acting chairman and conducting a meeting, investigators from the Commercial Crimes Investigation Division barged in and accused Qiu Hao Er of bribery and forging documents. They said that Qiu Han Yang's attending physician, Dr. Gu, told them that his cognitive and judgment abilities were already impaired before he signed the power of attorney. However, Dr. Gu received a message before Qiu Han Yang signed the document, stating that if it could be proven that Qiu Han Yang's mental state was absolutely normal, he would receive ten million yuan. Dr. Gu owed a large sum of money due to futures trading and needed the ten million yuan. They haven't identified the person who sent the message yet, but because Qiu Hao Er is the primary beneficiary of the power of attorney, she is a major suspect. Qiu Hao Er laughed and said she had no knowledge of this matter, but she believed that her grandfather's mental state was absolutely normal before this happened and she would assist in the investigation.

Qiu Shou Yi quickly deduced that Qiu Zhi Bin was behind this. He scolded Qiu Zhi Bin for being foolish and for choosing the riskiest method to prevent Qiu Hao Er from becoming the acting chairman. Qiu Zhi Bin nodded and accepted his father's reprimand, promising to handle the matter properly and avoid leaving any evidence.

Qiu Shou Ren was very worried about Qiu Hao Er and specifically found a lawyer for her, who happened to be Gao Jun. Gao Jun accompanied Qiu Hao Er home, but the atmosphere between them was not friendly. After returning home, Qiu Shou Yi and the others requested that Qiu Hao Er temporarily give up the position of acting chairman. Although Qiu Hao Er was reluctant, she agreed.

Reporters gathered at the entrance of the Qiu family's house to interview Qiu Hao Er. Single-handedly, she faced the questions from the reporters, clarifying numerous issues. Qiu Shou Yi and his son planned to seize the D Project while Qiu Hao Er and Qiu Han Yang were absent.

Qiu Shou Ren and his daughter, along with Gao Jun, discussed how to resolve the accusations against them. Gao Jun stated that currently there is no evidence proving that Qiu Hao Er bribed Dr. Gu, and their goal should be to prove that Qiu Han Yang was in a normal mental state when signing the power of attorney. This would undermine all of Dr. Gu's testimony. However, since Qiu Han Yang is currently unconscious, Gao Jun believed that there must have been another witness present during the signing of the document.

Qiu Hao Er and Gao Jun sought the opinion of Lawyer Tang. He stated that he believed Qiu Han Yang was in a clear state of mind when signing the power of attorney and showed no signs of any issues. Qiu Hao Er asked if there was any evidence to support this claim. Lawyer Tang mentioned that before that day, Qiu Han Yang had purchased a blue and white porcelain vase. Qiu Hao Er and Gao Jun could review the surveillance footage, which would show that Qiu Han Yang was indeed in a clear mental state that day. They could use this as evidence to confront Dr. Gu. However, Gao Jun received a sudden phone call, informing him that Dr. Gu had been involved in a car accident and was hospitalized. Due to the accident, Dr. Gu had lost his memory. Gao Jun informed Qiu Hao Er that the loss of memory by Dr. Gu would prevent further accusations against her, and the previous allegations made by the police would no longer stand.

The police called Qiu Hao Er and informed her that due to Dr. Gu's memory loss, the case would be temporarily suspended. Qiu Hao Er expressed her frustration, stating that without the ability to prove her innocence, she might not be able to continue as the acting chairman. Gao Jun asked her if this matter was truly that important. Qiu Hao Er affirmed it, as it was a task assigned to her by her grandfather. Moreover, she found it too coincidental that Dr. Gu lost his memory at this particular time.

Gao Jun appeared pensive, realizing that it was his idea for Qiu Shou Ren to suggest the memory loss to Dr. Gu. Qiu Shou Ren obtained the video of Dr. Gu's clarification and sent it to Qiu Shou Yi, threatening him to ensure Qiu Hao Er's reinstatement as the acting chairman. Qiu Shou Yi had no choice but to compromise.

Qiu Hao Er learned that Dr. Gu had emigrated, which surprised her. She questioned Gao Jun if he had done something, to which Gao Jun admitted but did not disclose the specifics. During the board meeting, Qiu Shou Yi and Qiu Zhi Bin brought up the D Project. However, Qiu Hao Er disagreed with their proposal and presented her own plan, which involved selling one of the hotel towers in Singapore as a hotel apartment to repay the bank's debt. Qiu Shou Yi and his group failed to reach a consensus with Qiu Hao Er. Unable to overcome her opposition, they had no choice but to end the meeting and let everyone reconsider. Consequently, the D Project was temporarily put on hold.

At the dining table, the Qiu family members engaged in a heated debate over the D Project. Qiu Zhi Bin mentioned that they had already signed a preliminary agreement with the gambling tycoon David, and if they violated the agreement, they would have to pay five hundred million. Qiu Hao Er was shocked.
