Episode 30 recap: Qiu Hao Er and Zhao Qi Bang got married.
Ma Xiao Ling invited Shao Jia Bi to live with her, and Shao Jia Bi agreed. Ma Xiao Ling said that Qiu Zhi Tong had called her and said he would help Qiu Shou Yi keep vigil tonight, and asked if they wanted to go. Shao Jia Bi said they would go, since they had been married for over 30 years and she wanted to see him off for the last time.
On the night of the vigil, Qiu Shou Ren received a call from a friend saying they had seen someone who looked a lot like Zhu Li Qi. Qiu Shou Ren told Dai Qi Ting and went out with Qiu Hao Er. Qiu Zhi Tong stayed with Dai Qi Ting. Soon, Shao Jia Bi and Ma Xiao Ling arrived. Shao Jia Bi apologized to Dai Qi Ting, and Dai Qi Ting said since they were there, they should go see Qiu Shou Yi one last time. Ma Xiao Ling also went to Qiu Shou Yi's photo to thank him for raising Qiu Zhi Bin and apologize on Qiu Zhi Bin's behalf.
After Qiu Shou Yi's burial, when the Qiu family had left, Gao Jun approached and told Qiu Shou Yi that when he found out Qiu Shou Yi was responsible for his father's death, he had wanted to seek revenge, but Qiu Zhi Bin had beaten him to it, dying at the hands of the son he had doted on for over 30 years, which may have been the greatest punishment for Qiu Shou Yi. Today was the day Qiu Hao Er was trying on her wedding dress, but Zhao Qi Bang said he had an unexpected meeting and couldn't make it. He Mei Ying noted that Zhao Qi Bang had previously canceled many important meetings for Qiu Hao Er, so his behavior today was unusual, speculating that he might have premarital jitters. On the day of Qiu Hao Er and Zhao Qi Bang's wedding, as they were about to exchange rings, Gao Jun suddenly burst through the doors, leaving Qiu Hao Er frozen in place, the ring slipping from her hand and falling to the floor.
