Episode 6 recap: The reason for the principal's commission is Hao Er.

Six months ago, Qiu Hanyang learned that he had Alzheimer's disease. He sought a lawyer to draft a power of attorney. While hesitating between Qiu Shou Yi and Qiu Zhi Bin, he received a call from Peng Gong and learned that Qiu Shou Yi and his son had bought the land of a Singapore hotel at three times the market price, causing the company's finances to be in deficit.

That evening, Qiu Hanyang called Qiu Shou Yi to the study to inquire and criticized his decision, saying he didn't want there to be a next time. Qiu Hao Er wanted to renovate and develop the Diamond Mall in Kowloon City. When Qiu Shou Yi heard the news, he felt that Qiu Hao Er didn't respect him and made decisions without consulting him. He was quite dissatisfied and called Qiu Hao Er to inquire. Qiu Hao Er said she didn't mean it that way. She just thought it was a waste to leave the old mall collecting rent and it would be better to repackage it and develop it for the company's benefit. Qiu Shou Yi arrogantly said they had been neglecting the mall all along, waiting for the urban planning committee to approve a change in the land's use. He also said that the Qiu family was in the hotel business, and the mall also served the hotel. If she wanted to develop the mall, he could provide her with funding. Qiu Hao Er fell silent, and all these words were heard by Qiu Hanyang upstairs.

The next day, Qiu Hanyang found Qiu Hao Er and told her that she should respect Qiu Shou Yi's opinions, but Qiu Hao Er didn't think there was anything wrong with her ideas. She was clearly also trying to increase the Qiu family's profits. She said that for so many years, she had been waiting for an opportunity to prove herself.

Qiu Hao Er was very distressed. Why did the family heir have to be a man? Qiu Shou Ren comforted her, saying that everything happens at its appointed time. If it's not meant to be, then don't force it. Life is short, so it's better to enjoy it. Qiu Hao Er said she never wanted to compete for anything; she just wanted to prove that a person's value lies not in their gender but in their abilities, and then she left.

In the evening, Qiu Zhi Bin, who was drunk, drove home and met Gao Cheng on the way. He gave him a ride, but unexpectedly, they had a car accident and damaged the roadside safety island. Qiu Zhi Bin pleaded with Gao Cheng to take the blame for him, and Gao Cheng reluctantly agreed.

Gao Jun learned about this and asked his father, Gao Cheng, who told him that it was him who had caused the accident while driving for Qiu Zhi Bin. Gao Jun still felt strange after hearing this. Qiu Hao Er went to help her mother at the store, and He Mei Ying could tell that Qiu Hao Er had been bullied again by Qiu Shou Yi and his son. She felt sorry for her and went to find Qiu Hanyang, hinting at him about the childhood incident when Qiu Hao Er insisted on learning fencing like a boy, asking him to give Qiu Hao Er a chance to prove herself. Qiu Hanyang listened thoughtfully.

The police discovered through surveillance footage that Qiu Zhi Bin was the one driving that night. They came to the company to find him and asked him to come to the police station for questioning. Qiu Zhi Bin said he had another meeting and would go to the police station the next day. The police agreed. That night, Qiu Hanyang learned about this and scolded Qiu Zhi Bin severely. Qiu Zhi Bin explained that Gao Cheng saw that he was injured and asked him to leave first. He didn't expect Gao Cheng to admit that he was the one driving. Qiu Shou Yi and the others believed Qiu Zhi Bin's explanation and asked him to handle the matter properly.

Qiu Zhi Bin gave Gao Cheng a large sum of money and instructed him to say what he taught him in front of the police. He told Gao Cheng to claim that the Qiu family had done him a favor, so Gao Cheng immediately agreed. Gao Cheng followed the instructions and said that to the police. Gao Jun was present and heard everything. After leaving the police station, Gao Jun questioned his father if Qiu Zhi Bin asked him to take the blame. Gao Cheng couldn't deceive his son and admitted it. Gao Jun was angry and warned his father not to do such things again. Gao Cheng nodded and agreed.

As a result of the accident, both Gao Cheng and Qiu Zhi Bin were fined and given community service. However, through this incident, Qiu Hanyang finally made up his mind to appoint Qiu Hao Er as his attorney-in-fact. The Qiu family received the news that Qiu Hanyang's condition had worsened, and they hurriedly rushed to the hospital. The doctor explained that Qiu Hanyang's heart condition was triggered by receiving external stimuli while in a coma. He had been stabilized after receiving treatment. Since Qiu Hao Er was the last person to see Qiu Hanyang, Qiu Zhi Bin began to blame Qiu Hao Er, but she felt innocent. At that moment, Lawyer Tang interrupted them and suggested that they all go out for a meal. He had something to discuss with them.

Lawyer Tang reminded everyone to think about the true purpose of Qiu Hanyang's power of attorney, hoping that they wouldn't let down the efforts and dedication Qiu Hanyang had put into it throughout his life. Due to the suspension of the D Project, the bank was only willing to approve a loan of 40% of the original amount. However, they needed to pay the second deposit of 2 billion in Singaporean land next month, and they only had 500 million at the moment. They had to find various ways to raise the remaining 2 billion and also had to sell the Diamond Mall. Qiu Hao Er disagreed with Qiu Shou Yi and the others' decision. Qiu Shou Yi promised her that if she could raise the money in a short period, they wouldn't have to sell the Diamond Mall.
