Episode 30 recap: Zhang Shao-mu hired people to eliminate Chen Xue-wei.
Su Xing knew that Lin Shi-man had already met with Zhuang Lao-da, so he went to see Zhuang Lao-da himself, hoping he would not rent the boat to the other side. After Su Xing's persuasion, Zhuang Lao-da decided to abandon the deal, and it was precisely this decision that completely enraged Zhang Shao-mu, who felt that Zhuang Lao-da had been in this position for too long and was no longer suitable to continue being Zhuang Lao-da.
As a result, Zhang Shao-mu prepared to send someone to assassinate Zhuang Lao-da. Afterwards, Su Xing personally went to Zhuang Lao-da's residence, mainly to explain two things: first, to return the stolen calligraphy and paintings; and second, to tell him about Lin Shi-man's true identity and Zhang Shao-mu's plot, with Ah-biao providing corroborating evidence. Zhang Shao Mu found Zhuang Lao Da's henchman A Qiang, instructed and supported him to rebel, saying that Zhuang Lao Da had been in this position for too long and was no longer suitable to continue being the boss.
According to the report from Zhou Ya Ming's people, A Qiang and A Hui met privately, and they felt that Zhang Shao Mu wanted to use A Qiang to kill Zhuang Lao Da, and even if A Qiang might refuse, it still meant that Zhuang Lao Da was in danger.
