Episode 10 recap: Lin Ping Ping and Chen Huan were caught kissing.
The group found this out and told Chen Qing, who said that just a lipstick mark is not enough evidence. Chen Qing told them to go ask Lin Yi Da, and Zhu Qun Ying felt that even if they did, he wouldn't admit to it. Chen Qing thought they should still make him explain, since he had been so cold towards the group lately, they should have questioned him then.
Liao Qiu Qiu saw Zhu Qun Ying crying as she left, and when Liao went inside, she saw a shirt with a lipstick mark on the bed. Liao and Lin Han Min waited for Lin Yi Da to come home so they could ask him about the situation. Lin Yi Da told them the lipstick mark happened accidentally while he was out entertaining clients. Lin Han Min questioned why he didn't get any on himself.
Lin Yi Da said that if he had done anything wrong, he wouldn't be two-timing, he would just leave. Hearing this, Lin Han Min got very angry and reminded him of when he had brought Zhu Qun Ying home.
Lin Yi Da said he wouldn't let the group be wronged. Lin Han Min said that's true, but how would the group feel seeing the shirt. Liao was going to try to wash the shirt, but Lin Han Min stopped her, saying they couldn't cover this up as a family.
Lin Han Min told Lin Yi Da it was up to him to explain it to the group, whether they forgave him or not. But the family had to face this together. When the group returned, Lin Yi Da tried to explain but Zhu Qun Ying ignored him and went straight to bed.
Liao felt bad for Zhu Qun Ying, remembering how she had recklessly followed Lin Yi Da to Beijing, and how she had cared for their whole family, including Liao and Lin Han Min. Liao felt guilty about how she had treated Zhu Qun Ying.
The next morning, as Lin Yi Da was leaving for work, Liao asked if Zhu Qun Ying had said anything, and Lin Yi Da said she hadn't.
Liao Qiu Qiu knew that Zhu Qun Ying was acting this way to not worry her and Lin Han Min. She asked Lin Yi Da if there were really problems in his relationship with Zhu Qun Ying.
Lin Yi Da said that to say there were no problems would be lying, as he and Zhu Qun Ying were growing more and more distant. Liao saw that Lin Ping Ping had worked an overnight shift, and asked if she was now involved in thework. Ping Ping said no, but a new deputy director named Zhou Mu'er had arrived, and felt Ping Ping's television work was a waste of her talents.
Lin Yi Da went to the company and asked his secretary Wen Ke if she was the one who left the lipstick mark, and also asked about the photos. Wen Ke still didn't admit to it, and tried to get gifts out of Lin Yi Da, but he told her to just pack up and leave.
Yang Li was flirting with Liang Zi at his clothing store, asking if he dared. Liang Zi said he'd never been afraid of anyone, so Yang Li put her hand on his leg, and he quickly said he didn't want to play these games.
Liang Zi went to see Da Hai, who was minding his street stall. Liang Zi said he'd always wanted to come but was afraid. He asked if Da Hai still resented him, and Da Hai said that was all in the past. Liang Zi said Da Hai had always been good to him, and asked if he could come back, but Da Hai said he was doing well on his own now.
Chen Huan and Lin Ping Ping went to have a reunion dinner with their former coworkers from when they did rural labor. Ping Ping felt Chen Huan was actually quite romantic. Chen Huan said he'd always been romantic, Ping Ping just hadn't noticed. The two got drunk and Lin Ping Ping asked Chen Huan if he really liked her. Chen Huan said it was true, even when sober tomorrow. They embraced and kissed, which was witnessed by Lin Yi Da and Zhu Qun Ying.
