Episode 25 recap: The Lin Yi Da company is in trouble.
Chen Huan asked the ocean (Da Hai) to come see him, and Da Hai said he wants to talk to him about the company's situation, as he feels the company is in trouble. Lin Yi Da burned some documents in the office, and when Da Hai asked him what was wrong, Lin Yi Da told him they had a problematic shipment and he needs to go into hiding now.
While Chen Huan was having dinner at home, Ping Ping called to tell him she's coming back. Hu Gui Lan asked if Ping Ping is coming back or going back, and Chen Huan said she's just coming back to handle some work matters. Hu Gui Lan seemed reluctant about this, feeling there's no need for her to go back.
Chen's father said he'll arrange a dinner for Lin Ping Ping, but Chen Huan said there's no need to go to a restaurant, they can do it at home. Hu Gui Lan said no one will cook, as she's been feeling resentful about the child situation over the years while Ping Ping was in the US.
Pan Tao was looking at her old clothes in the mirror and asked Liang Zi if she's gotten old. Liang Zi said no, and asked Pan Tao if her real father is actually rich. Pan Tao said she doesn't know, as he left over 40 years ago, and now she wonders why he's come back.
Liang Zi said he must have missed her, and if he wants to take her back to Hong Kong, he has to take Liang Zi too. Pan Tao said she's not going anywhere, she'll stay here. Chen Qing has a fever, and though Da Hai bought medicine, it didn't work. Da Hai said if the fever doesn't break, they'll have to go to the hospital, but Chen Qing refuses to go.
Da Hai thinks she won't go to work tomorrow, but Chen Qing tells her the factory isn't good to work at either, so she has to go. Da Hai says she doesn't care if Chen Qing becomes a model worker, as long as she's happy. Chen Huan is happily mopping the floor and cleaning the house since he heard Lin Ping Ping is coming back, and Ji Hong Bing wonders why he's working so hard when it's not a holiday.
Chen Huan tells Ji Hong Bing that Lin Ping Ping is coming back, and asks why he's here. Ji Hong Bing says he's going to America to be a security guard, and Chen Huan thinks it's strange for someone of his position in customs to do that, but Ji Hong Bing says it's a job Feng Xia found for him, and Chen Huan wonders why he's willing to be Feng Xia's subordinate.
Lin Yi Da asked Liao Jing Qiu why she summoned him back, and Liao Jing Qiu said she wanted to talk to him about his situation. She asked Lin Yi Da that he and Pi Xia have been together for three years, what's going on now. Lin Yi Da said nothing much, then Liao Jing Qiu said she and Lin Han Min have both retired and don't care if people laugh at them. As long as Pi Xia doesn't come home and cause trouble, Lin Yi Da said she wouldn't dare.
Lin Yi Da said he won't marry Pi Xia now, Liao Jing Qiu said he definitely can't get married, as he hasn't divorced Qun Ying yet. Lin Yi Da said he has made up his mind and agreed to sign the divorce papers, he told Liao Jing Qiu that Qun Ying will be back tomorrow. Liao Jing Qiu said she doesn't want to see him and Qun Ying get divorced, back when he was in college they tried hard to get him to come back to Beijing.
But now he has turned out this way, Lin Yi Da said he also misses his old self. But when he wanted to quit, it was already too late, his money was already invested out there. Liao Jing Qiu felt that the environment doesn't have a big influence on a person, the key is whether the heart changes or not. Da Hai came to find Chen Huan and told him he feels the company is about to have big trouble, so he shared Lin Yi Da's company situation.
Chen Huan felt Lin Yi Da is really lacking in consideration, he told Da Hai as the sales manager he must not get too deeply involved. Da Hai said Lin Yi Da has treated him well too, but he won't do anything illegal, he'll definitely help him if he can. When Da Hai came to Lin Yi Da's office, he saw him burning documents, and asked what happened.
Lin Yi Da said the company is in trouble, he needs to hurry and hide somewhere. Da Hai asked when he's leaving, Lin Yi Da told him he's leaving immediately. Da Hai felt he's in a big rush, Lin Yi Da said if he's found, he'll be fined to bankruptcy. Da Hai asked if he has enough money, Lin Yi Da said he still has 10,000, Da Hai told him to settle down and let him know, he'll send him money.
Lin Han Min fainted from anger when he heard about Lin Yi Da's situation, Lin Ping Ping didn't want to stay in the hospital when she's back. Qun Ying also rushed back, she said she'll stay at home for a few days to have someone to look after her. Qun Ying is going back to Beijing to open a restaurant, Liao Jing Qiu strongly supports her.
