Episode 27 recap: Lin Yi Da is doing business in Hainan.
Teacher Dong asked Chen Huan why he had to wait until after the Spring Festival to say anything, Chen Huan said he was afraid they might end up in a rift. Teacher Dong felt he was deliberately avoiding the issue, and if he was just going to the US to reunite with his family peacefully, it was not worth it. Lin Ping Ping and Chen Huan set off fireworks together, drank, and staggered back home.
Hu Gui Lan asked Chen Ba when he would retire, when would it be the right time. As Chen Xiao Ou was rushing to her date, Liang Zi stopped her and asked when they could go see a movie together.
Lin Han Min and Liao Jingqiu discussed whether they should sign up for a group travel package, but Liao Jingqiu felt they couldn't go as Lin Yi Da's situation still wasn't resolved and Lin Lin would be on break soon. Qun Ying told Liao Jingqiu she had to go back to Sichuan tomorrow as her restaurant was being demolished. Liao Jingqiu asked about Lin Yi Da, and Qun Ying said he had left her a letter saying the divorce papers were signed and she should take care of it when he gets back. Pi Xia was again discussing the land speculation with Lin Yi Da, saying her cousin said they needed to act quickly. Lin Yi Da said the money would be coming in from the sea soon, and asked Pi Xia to go pick out some gifts.
He Da Hai called Lin Yi Da, and Lin Yi Da was very excited to hear from him. Pi Xia told Lin Yi Da that this was something only the two of them could handle, no one else.
