Episode 11 recap: Chen Wan Zhen Becomes the Sales Champion
In order to boost sales, Chen Wan Zhen specially applied to hold an internal house viewing event, inviting her ex-husband and their mutual friends, who were all wealthy tycoons, as prospective clients. The sales department manager was very satisfied with the qualifications of these clients, and Chen Wan Zhen's colleagues were even more envious.
Yu Hai saw through his wife's WeChat moments that she was utilizing her personal connections to sell property, including the wife of a listed company boss. Embarrassed, Yu Hai rushed over quickly. Though there were many people at the sales office, Yu Hai tried to maintain his composure for his wife's sake and didn't confront her. After the house viewing event, he pulled Chen Wan Zhen aside and advised her to stop, suggesting they could go back to their old way of living. But Chen Wan Zhen disagreed, feeling her current life was peaceful and she no longer had to depend on others.
Yu Hai felt indignant, accusing Chen Wan Zhen of being short-sighted and squandering the personal connections they had built up over the years, warning her that it would be difficult to survive after a divorce at her age. He almost brought up the issue of child custody, but Chen Wan Zhen firmly reminded him that she had been the one raising their two beloved daughters all these years, so there was no way she would give them to him, especially with his company in the midst of financing.
During their argument, they were seen by Yu Chen, who had previously helped the fainted Chen Wan Zhen at the supermarket. Hearing that Chen Wan Zhen was now going through a divorce, Yu Chen, who greatly respected this independent and intellectual woman, felt a sense of fate. Coincidentally, they lived in the same community, though unaware of it all these years. When Yu Hai later saw Yu Chen talking to his wife, he began to feel jealous.
Chen Wan Zhen continued to ignore Yu Hai. The next day, based on her outstanding sales performance, she became the sales champion.
Xu Meng An's sister had already helped arrange for the surgery doctor. Li Lin agreed to take Xu Meng An back to their hometown to rest, telling others it was just a trip to relax.
When Xu Meng An told his daughter to stay at her grandmother's for a few days, Yunhier was especially happy. Xu Meng An felt heartbroken seeing his daughter so excited, unable to help but harbor some doubts. However, Yunhier insisted that she had already made plans with her best friend to have breakfast at McDonald's.
The next day, Helu's mother hurriedly came and knocked on the door, saying her daughter was missing and unreachable. Xu Meng An immediately called Yunhier, but her phone was ringing from the bedroom, obviously hidden on purpose.
The two families quickly went out to look for the children. Luckily, Yunhier's classmate Liusi remembered seeing her with民谣 concert tickets the day before, and led Xu Meng An and Helu's mother to the concert venue, where they finally found the two girls trying to flee.
Xu Meng An was very angry, scolding Yunhier for lying and hiding things, even though as parents they were usually quite open-minded and had never restricted her for legitimate reasons. Yunhier acknowledged her mistake and immediately apologized to her mother.
