Episode 22 recap: Xu Meng Xin has developed postpartum depression.

Recently, Cloud's academic performance has been declining sharply. Xu Meng An reminded Li Lin at home to properly educate Cloud. During the day, she had already been called to the school as a parent. The class teacher somehow found out that Cloud was worried about her mother having a second child, and so she worked with Xu Meng An, asking her to pay more attention to her daughter's studies.

Tasked by his wife, Li Lin waited for Cloud to return home from school, called her over, and scolded her harshly. Cloud's studies already needed more effort, and now she also had to attend the piano graduation class, which greatly displeased Li Lin. The father and daughter immediately got into a fight. Li Lin did not complete the task, so Xu Meng An changed her strategy. She went to Cloud's room, first feigned helplessness, saying that she had been very careful at work while pregnant, training new employees and maintaining good relationships with the leadership, so that she could return to work smoothly after giving birth. Hearing about her mother's difficulties, Cloud empathized and said she found the academic pressure in middle school to be very great, and that she was taking the piano graduation class just to give piano a proper farewell, a kind of ceremony, so that she would have no regrets in the future.

Hearing their daughter's true feelings, Xu Meng An and Li Lin were reassured and allowed her to follow her heart. Xu Meng Xin was lying in the postpartum care center. Although Old Jia had found her the best nanny, the postpartum depression was tormenting her terribly. She didn't want to eat, didn't want to breastfeed. When the nanny brought the baby over, she had no interest in seeing it and asked the nanny to take the baby away immediately.

Jia Hao Wen hired a psychologist to help his wife Xu Meng Xin work through her issues, but she was unwilling to see the doctor. Jia Hao Wen then had himself tested, and the doctor diagnosed that he had no problems, only advising him to be more understanding of Xu Meng Xin, as this was a typical case of postpartum depression.

Jia Hao Wen didn't mind at all when his wife lashed out at him, and instead asked the doctor how he could best help his wife get through this difficult period.

Chen Wan Zhen's sales commission from last month was directly docked by half by the manager, who used it to buy financial funds. Chen Wan Zhen had asked for it back several times, but the manager clearly didn't want to give it back. So Chen Wan Zhen presented the manager with a detailed sales report, and frankly stated that she would resign, but only after receiving the withheld portion of her pay. She had also prepared a detailed report on the department's sales performance over the past year and sent it to the company headquarters. If the manager tried any underhanded moves, the company would not ignore it.

Hearing that the report had been sent to headquarters, the manager turned green in the face.

Xu Meng An's friend at the HR department had helped her obtain a nomination as an outstanding local internet woman. As someone who normally keeps a low profile, Xu Meng An didn't want this kind of publicity. But her good friend reminded her that in order to be able to return to work smoothly after giving birth, she needed to make sure the company remembered her and used her as an industry standard, establishing her authority. Otherwise, there would be the risk of being forgotten after half a year.

Her friend's logic made sense, so Xu Meng An carefully considered it and felt it could actually benefit her. She thanked her friend and agreed to introduce her to a boyfriend in return.
