Episode 10 recap: Zhou Shi Yu was punished to go to Liuzhou to provide disaster relief.

Yue Ling suspected that the account book was stolen on the day she was painting, Qian Qian analyzed all the people present, Yue Ling was convinced that it was the South King who stole the account book, cursing him as a bad person, and forbidding him from entering the mansion ever again. The South King called out his innocence outside the hall and demanded to see the Emperor. When the Emperor saw that he was injured, he offered him a seat, but the South King's buttocks were too wounded for him to sit.

The South King believed that the Emperor should have punished the North King severely, not being lenient just because he was a legitimate son, while the South King himself was an illegitimate son. The Emperor repeatedly stated that he was not showing favoritism, but still could not appease his anger, and could only punish the North King by sending him to Liuzhou for disaster relief.

Yue Ling was concerned about Zhou Shi Yu's injury and found the Marquis of Quanxuan to inquire where she could buy the Seven Wound Powder, a special medicine for treating injuries that was unique to the East Yu region. The Marquis advised her to go to the West Market to purchase it.

Xing Yi went to Star Moon Pavilion to train Su Nian. Su Nian, having obtained the account book, no longer wanted to tease Xing Yi, but Ling Xi found it amusing to still tease Xing Yi, so Su Nian directly asked Xing Yi to leave.

Zhou Shi Yu was packing to go to Liuzhou, and when he saw that Yue Ling had not yet returned to the mansion, he prepared to set out first. Lin Mu wanted to bring the good medicine given by Gao Luo Yi, but Zhou Shi Yu insisted on only bringing the medicine sent by Yue Ling. At the same time, Yue Ling returned joyfully after buying the Seven Wound Powder in the West Market, but she happened to cross paths with Zhou Shi Yu.

When Yue Ling returned to the mansion, she was very disappointed to learn that Zhou Shi Yu had left without telling her. Lin Mu, seeing her gloomy mood, relayed Zhou Shi Yu's message that if she needed anything, she could order the people in the mansion as she wished.

That night, Yue Ling felt down, and Xing Yi's spirits were also low.

Yue Ling received an invitation from the South King to come to his mansion for a roast pork dinner. Xing Yi immediately became excited at the prospect of the delicious food, and Qian Qian also missed the roast pork. However, Yue Ling, believing the South King was the thief who stole the account book, decided not to let them go.

The palace sent a summons for Yue Ling to attend a banquet. Qian Qian quickly helped Yue Ling dress up and reminded her to be dignified.

At the palace, Yue Ling was mocked by the ladies-in-waiting, who disparaged the East Yu Kingdom as a savage land. Gao Luo Yi, who already had a poor attitude towards Yue Ling, took the opportunity to lead the ladies in bullying her. A maid then came to summon Yue Ling to meet the Empress Dowager, but instead locked her up in the palace.

The South King inquired about Yue Ling's absence, and Gao Luo Yi falsely accused Yue Ling. The self-obsessed South King thought Gao Luo Yi disliked Yue Ling because she was interested in him. When the Empress Dowager arrived and noticed Yue Ling's absence, Gao Luo Yi lied that Yue Ling had left early due to illness.

Sensing Gao Luo Yi's inconsistent statements, the South King grew suspicious. After investigation, he successfully rescued Yue Ling from the Cold Palace. Yue Ling felt they were now even, but the South King was angry that not only did Yue Ling not thank him, but she also falsely accused him of theft, though he did not want to argue with her.

Zhou Shi Yu received a message from the palace, mistakenly thinking it was a letter from Yue Ling. Upon opening it, he realized it was a letter from the South King, claiming he and Yue Ling had developed a secret romance, and telling the North King to back off. Concerned for Yue Ling's safety, Zhou Shi Yu ordered his guard Nie Chen to rush back to the palace.

Inspecting the disaster relief efforts in Liuzhou, Zhou Shi Yu found the officials harshly scolding the destitute victims. He had the local officials arrested and comforted the affected civilians.
