Episode 13 recap: Yue Ling invited Su Nian to perform a charity performance.
Xing Yi was blocked by the guards at the city gate and left alone there, while Su Nian left with Ling Xi. Soon after, the guards brought Xing Yi before the Northern King. Xing Yi saw Zhou Shi Yu and Yue Ling tearfully recount their experiences. Hearing that Xing Yi had gone to Liuzhou with Su Nian, Yue Ling was worried that Su Nian would not be comfortable staying at the Dowager Madame Sang's residence, so he had Su Nian stay with him at the manor.
