Episode 15 recap: Gu Xiao Meng accompanied Liu Mei Qin to resolve the debt issue.

Lv Xiang has always been wholeheartedly helping Gu Xiao Meng's brother Gu Xiao Song, and this time Gu Xiao Song got into trouble again, and it was still Lv Xiang who helped, which also made Wang Hong a little dissatisfied, thinking that although they were both called mother, she was single-mindedly for her son, but Liu Mei Qin was only exploiting her daughter and son-in-law for the sake of her unworthy son.

Lv Zhi Gao felt that Lv Xiang's help to Gu Xiao Song was understandable, after all, Gu Xiao Meng was their daughter-in-law, and they were all one family. Seeing the high-level of their son and son-in-law, Wang Hong, although angry, no longer said anything.

Wang Hong persuaded Lv Zhi Gao to listen to the children and buy another house, and then this house could be left for the grandchildren in the future.

Lv Zhi Gao then gave up the idea of changing houses and turned his attention to the children's affairs. Wang Hong also told Lv Zhi Gao about Lv Xiang's poor health, and complained a little that Gu Xiao Meng didn't care and overworked Lv Xiang.

Lv Xiang felt that Liu Mei Qin was very capable, as she was able to uncover the agent Chen's conspiracy just by buying vegetables and paying attention to some clues. Lv Xiang also believed that Lv Zhi Gao would not go to buy the house again, as he had already been tricked. Gu Xiao Meng then stopped signing the contract and went back to blame Liu Mei Qin for not mentioning it beforehand. Wang Hong hoped that Liu Mei Qin could talk to Gu Xiao Song, and that he should solve the debt he owed by himself, so as not to delay his sister and brother-in-law's house purchase.

Gu Xiao Meng also consulted a lawyer, and was told that the relatives' investment was a risk investment, so the company's failure did not mean they had to pay back the debt. It was Liu Mei Qin's later supplement of the IOU that caused the trouble. Gu Xiao Meng planned to go back to Suzhou with her mother the next day to understand the situation in detail. Lv Zhi Gao comforted Gu Xiao Meng, telling her to let the family know if there was any problem.

Gu Xiao Meng went back to the room and started to check the relevant legal regulations. Lv Xiang comforted Gu Xiao Meng, saying that if they couldn't buy the house, it didn't matter. Lv Xiang then took Gu Xiao Meng's clothes and went to rest, which made Gu Xiao Meng feel much better.

On their way home, Liu Mei Qin advised Gu Xiao Meng not to get involved in their debt issues. She said they still need to buy a house, otherwise their family status will decline. However, Gu Xiao Meng believed that she and Lv Xiang were of equal status, and hoped her mother wouldn't worry.

Lv Xiang had specifically given Ma Tian Ai a large stack of materials and told him to finish reviewing all of it within two days. Baocheng thought Lv Xiang was being too harsh, but Lv Xiang felt that since Ma Tian Ai lacked professional knowledge, he should study hard, unless Lv Xiang didn't need him as a teacher anymore.

Baocheng hoped Lv Xiang wouldn't scare Ma Tian Ai away, as he was still single and Baocheng hoped he could have a chance with Ma Tian Ai. Lv Xiang reminded Baocheng not to get emotionally invested, or he may end up crying one day. Zhao Ruilong would often try to slander Lv Xiang's character in front of Old Zhang, claiming that Lv Xiang and Ma Tian Ai had an unclear relationship and were just grabbing at straws. He worried that if anything happened, Gu Xiao Meng would never forgive him, and it might even implicate Zhang Yiyi.

Liu Mei Qin was searching everywhere for her phone, and Gu Xiao Meng helped find it in her purse. Liu Mei Qin remembered how she used to take the siblings to watch the trains when they were upset. Gu Xiao Song had fallen asleep, and Liu Mei Qin carried him, only to be scolded by Gu Xiao Meng for not carrying her.

Gu Xiao Meng reminisced about the past, with a slight smile on her face. Wang Hong prepared some nutritious soup for Lv Xiang, as now there were only three of them left in the house. Wang Hong was dissatisfied with Liu Mei Qin's behavior, feeling the two mothers treated them differently, with Liu Mei Qin favoring her son. Lv Zhigao, however, believed that since Gu Xiao Meng had married into the family, they were all one family and should help each other.

Gu Xiao Meng and Liu Mei Qin went to see their relatives and brought 400,000 yuan. Gu Xiao Meng believed that part of the debt was investment capital and shouldn't all be borne by Gu Xiao Song, but Liu Mei Qin insisted on repaying all the debt, no matter how much it was. Gu Xiao Meng didn't know how to stop her mother.

The relatives pressured Liu Mei Qin to drink several large cups of alcohol, and Gu Xiao Meng tried to stop her, but Liu Mei Qin insisted on drinking. Gu Xiao Meng felt this wasn't a problem that could be solved by drinking, and if the company they all invested in had lost money, they should all share the risk. Liu Mei Qin was willing to pay back part of the money because she felt it was difficult for everyone.

Gu Xiao Meng also pulled out the company agreement they had signed, reminding everyone of their shared responsibility. But the others ignored the familial ties and accepted Liu Mei Qin's IOUs, even going to the police to file a report. Gu Xiao Meng argued that since they had all participated in the business, they should share the risk, and the court might not even support their IOUs.

Hearing Gu Xiao Meng's words, the others looked at each other, knowing they were in the wrong. Lv Xiang planned to rent a house, and Lv Zhigao offered to help Liu Mei Qin, but said if they needed to move out, it would have to be Liu Mei Qin. Lv Xiang quickly found an excuse to leave.

At the company, Lv Xiang saw that Ma Tian Ai was still studying the materials, with many red markings. Ma Tian Ai hoped Lv Xiang could provide some guidance, but Lv Xiang felt there was no need for him to continue, as they were on different paths. However, Ma Tian Ai insisted on having Lv Xiang give him some pointers.
