Episode 21 recap: Shan Shuang Shuang conducted a thorough investigation and discovered that the Pei family was the culprit behind the Phoenix Crown incident years ago
She then found Shan Dan Dan and explained the matter, urging her to stand against Pei Pei, as the son of their enemy was now right before them, and asked Shan Dan Dan to avenge their late father by killing Pei Pei with her own hands
However, Shan Dan Dan had already developed deep feelings for Pei Pei, and was unsure how to handle her sister's demands. As Shan Shuang Shuang relentlessly pressed on, Shan Dan Dan instinctively grabbed the sword that was aimed at Pei Pei, much to the shock of both Shan Shuang Shuang and Pei Pei.
After Pei Pei lulled Shan Dan Dan to sleep, Shan Shuang Shuang waited for him at the door. Pei Pei sensed that Shan Shuang Shuang was hiding something and wanted her to explain, but was instead unexpectedly kicked down by her, amazed at her martial prowess.
Shan Shuang Shuang then directly told Pei Pei that her biological father was the notorious pirate, Shan Jingtiан. She believed it was the Pei family's patriarch who had killed Shan Jingtiан, and drew her sword to kill Pei Pei, only to be blocked by Shan Dan Dan.
Shan Dan Dan pleaded with her sister to spare Pei Pei, saying that even if Shan Jingtiан were still alive, she would not want her to commit murder. Shan Shuang Shuang then revealed to Shan Dan Dan that Shan Jingtiан was her father, not Shan Dan Dan's, and explained the circumstances of Shan Dan Dan's adoption.
Pei Pei then realized that Shan Dan Dan was actually the daughter of Zhao the Guard. Shan Shuang Shuang again charged towards Pei Pei, but was blocked by Shan Dan Dan, who was wounded in the process. Shan Dan Dan left the Pei household with a heart full of gratitude and sorrow towards her sister.
Pei Pei comforted Shan Dan Dan, but she felt that her beloved sister had abandoned her.
Although Pei Pei harbored resentment towards his father, he did not believe that Pei Chuфeng was the type of person who would steal treasures.
Manager Hao dismissed his employees, and the shop was also sealed off. He used all his savings to maintain everyone's livelihood, and A-Liu also contributed his accumulated savings. Pei Pei and Shan Dan Dan were penniless, and decided they needed to find a way to earn money.

Knowing it was Su Jue's people who did this, Shan Shuang Shuang went to the Su family to settle the score. In the secret chamber, she discovered the deranged Pei Chuфeng, along with drafts exposing him.
Shan Shuang Shuang brought Pei Chuфeng back to the Pei household and handed him over to Shan Dan Dan and Pei Pei. Pei Pei was furious and wanted to confront Su Jue, but was held back by Shan Dan Dan.
They decided to take their time and prepare for the days to come.
