Episode 14 recap: Ou Xiao An regained his memory and remembered the location.
Wei Qing Ming saw Shen Cong Wu with a beaming face, and Shen Cong Wu publicly announced that their 38th Army had found the location of 810, but the place was empty, with only some equipment left. Fortunately, they were able to rescue about a hundred soldiers. Everyone applauded Shen Cong Wu's achievement.
Shen Cong Wu asked them to send the biochemical materials to Li Shao Tang for quick analysis. Ou Xiao An asked him if he found the big bridge, and Shen Cong Wu believed the bridge had fled, but he had an unexpected gain - he found the communist Ye Xuan Min. Ou Xiao An suspected Li Shao Tang was lying and asked why he had wanted to burn the materials on the train. Li Shao Tang changed the subject, saying he was sorry about the issue with Feng Jing Xian.
Qin Mo Qing suspected Shen Cong Wu was not simple, as he had been helping Li Shao Tang resist the accusations. In the first group meeting, Ou Xiao An suspected 810 was in the region north of Yangon, and Qin Mo Qing remembered they had searched the Kara Valley before. Li Shao Tang intentionally confused everyone, claiming 810 was in the jungle near a water source, and he chose the river valley location.
Ajin settled his fellow prisoners, and after they cleaned up, they regained their original appearance. Ajin had already helped inquire about the location of the Chinese troops. Shen Cong Wu asked Li Shao Tang to perform well in front of the communists, wanting to lure them, guessing they must want to inquire about 810 and the Falling Cherry Blossom plan. Li Shao Tang immediately contacted Wang Yun Jie, reporting the intelligence he had in the special group, and requested the organization to verify Ou Xiao An's identity, intentionally saying he might be a communist.
Wang Yun Jie said he would apply to the organization. Ou Xiao An knew Li Shao Tang was up to no good and followed him, discovering he was secretly meeting with someone from the Jishitang. The big bridge learned that someone in a village in the Southeast had rescued the mute, knowing he had escaped from prison, and ordered the Japanese army to kill him.
A report came in that Chinese troops were searching in the Laka Valley. The big bridge ordered the Japanese army to lead the Chinese troops in circles so they could relocate quickly. The Japanese army pursued the village, beating up Ajin and searching everywhere for the mute prisoner, but he had already fled.
The military intelligence agency Juntong was monitoring Ou Xiao An, seeing the lights on in his house and assuming he was still at home.
In fact, Ou Xiao An had already evaded the surveillance and gone to the Jishitang organization to meet Wang Yun Jie, giving him the coded number 9548, but Wang Yun Jie did not understand it. The surveillance agent suddenly noticed the unusual lights at Ou Xiao An's home, went upstairs to investigate, and pretended to be lost, but by then Ou Xiao An had already returned home after tampering with the electric meter.
Qin Mo Qing told Wang Qiu Shui that Li Shao Tang's lie detector test results indicated he might be a communist spy, but Shen Cong Wu did not interrogate him further and instead released him, suspecting he had been turned by Shen Cong Wu. Wang Qiu Shui reestablished a contact point, and before confirming Ou Xiao An's identity, asked Qin Mo Qing to protect herself.
Wang Yun Jie came to the contact point to meet Wang Qiu Shui, suspecting that he and Li Shao Tang had been discovered by the Juntong. Wang Qiu Shui passed the coded message to the organization, but they could not yet find evidence to confirm Ou Xiao An's identity. He suggested that Wang Yun Jie and the Jishitang comrades evacuate, but Wang Yun Jie refused, believing Ou Xiao An was the Juntong's trap, and he wanted to stay to protect Li Shao Tang and complete the organization's mission.
Shen Cong Wu told Li Shao Tang to continue investigating, as they both suspected Ou Xiao An was a communist. Wang Qiu Shui had Lai Junsheng send a telegram to his superiors, which was discovered by Shen Cong Wu, who then had the Juntong lock onto their location to search. Wang Qiu Shui felt the place was no longer safe, so he silenced Lai Junsheng's radio, knowing his years of infiltration in the Juntong would not be easy.
Shen Cong Wu was displeased that Wen Yi Shan had taken Ou Xiao An for treatment, and also learned that the Chinese army had just entered Burma and been ambushed by the Japanese. Angered, he demanded they quickly find the Japanese spy inside. Through electric shock therapy, Ou Xiao An remembered the specific coordinates 810, which had been revealed by Liao Zhi Jing, a former Juntong member captured by the Japanese.
Shen Cong Wu telegraphed the coordinates to the expeditionary army, who found the location and rescued the prisoners, obtaining related biological warfare materials, but did not find the bridge. Shen Cong Wu intentionally claimed they had also captured 22 communists, who would be secretly interrogated by the Juntong. Qin Mo Qing reported this information to Wang Qiu Shui, who quickly closed his shop and went to Jishitang upon hearing the news.
