Episode 7 recap: Wei-zhi Gao discovered that Cui Heimei was still selling counterfeit currency.
The boss' men stopped Zhang Kuang and Chang Fa. Chang Fa couldn't help but say to the boss, "Don't reach out your hand too far." This was because on the day the boss was beaten, the people who beat him had used this phrase to warn him. Therefore, the boss believed that Chang Fa was the one who had assaulted him, so he had Chang Fa beaten up and his long hair shaved off. The boss called Zhang Kuang to a restaurant, and saw a man sharpening a knife nearby, which made Zhang Kuang very nervous. The boss clearly told Zhang Kuang that he was Zhang Kuang's creditor. Knowing the boss was not someone to be trifled with, Zhang Kuang took out the money Chang Fa had given him and gave 500,000 to the boss.
The boss originally didn't want to take Zhang Kuang's money, but when he saw Zhang Kuang's bag contained several million, he decided, for the sake of the money, not to further trouble this formidable enemy. Hearing Zhang Kuang's plan, everyone was excited and elated.
But their joy only lasted a day. Wei-zhi Gao summoned Zhang Kuang and immediately rejected his plan to renovate the circus as the marathon starting point. When Chang Fa returned to the Hot Spring Hotel, he happened to see Yan-ping Wu seeing Zhang Kuang off. Seeing Zhang Kuang drive away, Chang Fa hailed a passing motorcyclist, pretending to be furious and asking if the motorcyclist knew he was riding the wrong bike. The motorcyclist got off and gave Chang Fa the bike. After Chang Fa rode off, the motorcyclist muttered that the bike had no brakes.
Back at the acrobatic troupe, Zhang Kuang heard that the renovation plan had fallen through, and the group was in very low spirits. As Zhang Kuang and Yuan Yuan were comforting them, a loud crash was heard from outside. They found that Chang Fa had been thrown off the motorcycle and was hanging on the troupe's large outdoor advertisement. Zhang Kuang took Yuan Yuan to the bank to deposit the remaining cash. Zhang Kuang examined it carefully and found that the money Wu Yanping gave him this time was all real.
Cui Heimei's big customer for fake banknotes was Fatty, who was being watched by the police. While fleeing, he fell into a coal pit and with great difficulty climbed out, looking like a black person. He went to the hot springs hotel to find Cui Heimei. Gao Weizhi's men caught him and brought him before Gao Weizhi. Under threat and intimidation, Fatty revealed that he had bought fake banknotes from Cui Heimei.
Gao Weizhi ordered his men to deal with Fatty, but first retrieve all the goods.
