Episode 11 recap: Yun Shu Seeks to Uncover the Truth about the Betrayal of the Mo Clan

In episode 11, Yun Shu wants to know what secrets her aunt is still hiding from her. However, Yun Yi is more concerned about the situation of Su Shan, only to find out that Su Shan was killed by the Mo clan's trap while trying to retrieve some documents, which makes Yun Yi even more devastated.

Yun Yi recalls that years ago, the border town was attacked and conquered by the enemy army, resulting in the deaths of many innocent civilians. Some speculated that the Mo clan had leaked the city's defensive plans. Worried about her sister Yun Yin, Yun Yi rushed back, only to find that Tao Lin Manor was engulfed in flames, and Yun Yin was barely alive. Yun Yi then had the unconscious Yun Shu taken to a remote village to recuperate, intending to adopt her once the situation with the Mo clan was resolved.

After learning about her own origins, Yun Shu holds a memorial service for her mother. Yun Yi also secretly pays respects to her sister. Yun Shu wants to know if the Mo clan truly betrayed the country, but Yun Yi believes that even if they were not guilty, they no longer have the power to clear their name.

As Yun Shu leaves, a palace maid overhears their conversation, and Yun Yi unhesitatingly kills her. Back at home, Yun Shu decides to investigate the matter further and is surprised to receive the support of Song Huan Bei, who is willing to help her look into the case. Yun Shu questions Song Huan Bei about his involvement in the affairs of theXi Kingdom, suspecting him to be the exiled crown prince Shen Mo, which Song Huan Bei confirms.
