Episode 2 recap: Yun Shu Reveals His/Her Women's Clothing
In episode 2, Song Huanbei went directly to the bathroom to wait for Yun Shu, but he was still fully clothed. Yun Shu had wanted to get a good look at his tattoos, but didn't have the chance, as a cold arrow came shooting towards them at that moment. Song Huanbei quickly pulled Yun Shu into the pool to evade the ambush. Yun Shu seized the opportunity to tear off Song Huanbei's clothes, hoping to confirm if he was the leader of the Qianji Pavilion, but the tattoo on his shoulder was obscured by the bandages.
Song Huanbei directly told Yun Shu that the information he had leaked about the leader of the Qianji Pavilion having a qilin tattoo on his shoulder was intentional, as a precautionary measure. He then revealed that he was in fact the true leader of the Qianji Pavilion. At that moment, another cold arrow was shot towards them, prompting Song Huanbei to quickly pull Yun Shu into his embrace. In doing so, he discovered that Yun Shu's chest was remarkably full, confirming that Yun Shu was a woman disguised as a man.
Song Huanbei told Yun Shu that their trip to the mausoleum was not meant to harm him, but rather to help him. Yun Shu then seized the opportunity to ask Song Huanbei to prove his sincerity, as the cold arrows were the work of Wang Kui. Song Huanbei's subordinate, Liu Su, later discovered through investigation that Yun Shu was not the nephew of Yun Yi, but rather an orphan that Yun Yi had rescued years ago. It seemed that Yun Yi was the true mastermind behind the events.
Song Huanbei then directly informed Crown Prince Shen Lan of the Xiuo Kingdom about Wang Kui's whereabouts three days from now. Wondering how Yun Shu would react to the knowledge of his true identity, Song Huanbei was surprised when Yun Shu attempted to attack him. However, Song Huanbei managed to pull off Yun Shu's wig, fully revealing Yun Shu's feminine features. Even Song Huanbei's subordinates were stunned by how beautiful Yun Shu looked as a woman.
