Episode 23 recap: Song Huan-bei Wants to Regain Military Power
In Episode 23, Song Huan-bei returned to the room with Yun Shu in his arms and lulled her to sleep. He then discovered a farewell letter beside Yun Shu's pillow, which shocked him - it revealed that Yun Shu had already made arrangements for her own death after going to the prison to rescue him. When Yun Shu woke up, Song Huan-bei scolded her and urged her to reflect on her actions.
At that moment, a dart carrying a letter flew in. After reading the contents, Song Huan-bei left the room. Seeing that Song Huan-bei was still troubled by the farewell letter, Yun Shu hurried to admit her mistake. Although Song Huan-bei outwardly expressed disappointment in Yun Shu's actions, he loved her deeply. When he saw Yun Shu coming to apologize, he pulled her into a tight embrace.
