Episode 3 recap: Ji Xing was being isolated at the company.

Ji Xing accidentally overheard a conversation between the department manager and her superior in the restroom. During the day, the manager had specifically proposed giving Ji Xing a promotion and raise, but it turned out to be a ruse. The department manager was constantly plagiarizing Ji Xing's achievements, not only shamelessly, but also deceiving Ji Xing, even blocking her path to promotion. Ji Xing was greatly disheartened upon hearing this.

As she left the restroom, Ji Xing encountered the lecherous Zhu Lei from another department. Zhu Lei pretended to invite Ji Xing to work in his sales department, and when she refused, he took the opportunity to intentionally slap Ji Xing's buttocks.

Outraged by this shameless and unreasonable act, Ji Xing angrily accused him of sexual harassment. However, not only did Zhu Lei not apologize, he deliberately shouted in front of everyone that Ji Xing was dressed provocatively and had been seducing him the whole time. Ji Xing was publicly slandered, and she became so angry that her eyes were red.

Just then, Han Ting and Tang Song were about to go meet a client. Seeing Ji Xing on the verge of tears, Han Ting immediately asked Tang Song to stay while he went to meet the client alone.

Nearby, someone reminded Ji Xing that there would be many clients at the upcoming celebration, suggesting she should let it go. But Zhu Lei refused to apologize, leaving Ji Xing no choice but to call the police.

The police came, but the surveillance footage was unclear about Zhu Lei's hand movements when he approached Ji Xing, so there was no evidence to prove sexual harassment. Just as the incident was about to be swept under the rug, Tang Song provided the police with robot monitoring footage of the scene, which clearly showed what had happened.

Fortunately, Tang Song provided the evidence in time. Zhu Lei could no longer deny it, and Ji Xing's innocence was proven. When Xiao Yi Xiao heard the news, he immediately went to comfort Ji Xing and had someone drive her home.

At night, Ji Xing told her boyfriend about what had happened. Her boyfriend was very concerned about her situation, which Ji Xing was well aware of. She really didn't want to go to work, but she still had a mortgage to pay, so she had no choice but to grit her teeth and push forward.

The next day when she arrived at work, she could feel the icy glares from everyone. A considerate colleague quietly told Ji Xing that Zhu Lei had been fired the night before, because it was Tang Song who handled the matter. However, many colleagues now suspected that Ji Xing had a relationship with the newly arrived superior. Some even posted unpleasant things about Ji Xing on the internal network.

Extremely dejected, Ji Xing's department manager, who was closely connected with Zhu Lei, had benefited a lot from their shady dealings. Now that his partner had been fired, he was naturally unhappy, and deliberately put pressure on Ji Xing, hoping she would choose to retreat.

That day, the manager assigned Ji Xing a lot of work, and she had to work overtime until late at night. The department's employees grumbled, blaming it all on Ji Xing. She endured the pressure and completed most of the wrap-up work, finally finishing in the early hours of the morning, then wearily made her way downstairs.

As the elevator door opened, Ji Xing looked up, ready to enter, when she suddenly saw a familiar face - Han Ting had just finished work and was taking the same elevator. Physically and mentally exhausted, Ji Xing again thanked Han Ting for what happened the previous night. She knew the robot monitoring footage did not have any cameras installed, and it was thanks to Han Ting's intervention that Zhu Lei had immediately confessed.

It was raining outside, and Ji Xing's boyfriend had not come to pick her up. Han Ting offered to drive Ji Xing home. Seeing her dazed expression, Han Ting asked when she had changed her phone number, and learned that she had changed it when she first started university, finally understanding why his many messages had gone unanswered.
