Episode 32 recap: Tensions Arise Between Han Ting and Xingchen
In episode 32, Zeng Di originally planned to use financing to squeeze Han Ting out of Xingchen's board of directors. But unexpectedly, Chang He suddenly betrayed her and sold all of his Xingchen shares to Han Ting. This allowed Han Ting to complete his task ahead of time, giving him more leverage in the board of directors.
Zeng Di accused Chang He of betraying her, but Chang He felt that for businessmen, profit is the most important thing. He shamelessly said that the value of the Guanghua shares given to him by Han Ting was much higher than Xingchen's, and even urged Zeng Di to continue cooperating with him, saying that "the enemy's enemy is a friend."
Zeng Di angrily walked away. As Han Ting's shares in the Dongyang Group continued to increase, Zeng Di still hypocritically congratulated him. In fact, Han Ting had long seen through Zeng Di's scheming in recent times, and if he let her continue, the consequences would be dire.
So Han Ting directly asked Zeng Di why she had colluded with Chang He, and presented photos of Zeng Di meeting with Chang He privately as evidence.
