Episode 5 recap: After resigning, Ji Xing decided to start her own business.

Under the starlight, Ji Xing and Han Ting chatted quietly. After so many years since graduation, Ji Xing felt that humans are so small compared to the vast universe. Han Ting was familiar with this sentiment, remembering that during their high school physics competition, Ji Xing had used this line in her acceptance speech when their team won. Han Ting couldn't help but recite Ji Xing's words from the award ceremony stage, and their shared memories took them back to their high school days. After completing her field research project, Ji Xing returned home first. She had already decided to work in 3D printing, rejecting the job offer from Han Ting. On the phone, Ji Xing told Han Ting that Dongyang was a great company, but she was still determined to start her own business. Ji Xing's boyfriend, Shao Yi Chen, had returned, which was a great surprise for her. They had been in love since college and were now preparing to purchase a new home.
